As always, I’m living my best life and today it’s in beautiful Rutherglen! I have a bit of a love affair with the UK, especially the smaller towns, you just can’t beat the charming character they all have! And this one is no exception! This gorgeous little place has it all - rolling green hills, a stunning old town centre, and enough pubs to satisfy even the most dedicated of ale connoisseurs. 😉
Oh! And let's not forget the lovely locals! You wouldn’t believe how wonderfully welcoming they have been to your queen. Every shop I've been in has greeted me with a bright smile and even complimented my oh-so-fabulous pink tutu! This isn’t the first time I’ve been in Scotland, it’s a true hidden gem in the British Isles and this was just an excuse to see it again. 💖 But before I share my fabulous trip with you, I have a very exciting announcement:
“PINK TUTU PARTY!” 🥳 🎉
That's right, darling, I'm hosting a massive pink-tutu-tastic bash! This party is going to be so flamboyant, so dazzling, and so much fun, I can’t even put it into words! You'll get a chance to see all your favourite drag queens (including yours truly), dance the night away with some fab tunes, and even win some pink tutu prizes! 🎊

This whole experience got me thinking about why pink tutus mean so much to me. Do you want to know the secret? 💅
Well, it’s not exactly a secret because I’ve talked about it before. But I was studying my science degree at Derby University, you know, surrounded by bubbling flasks and beakers all the time. In my spare time I was actually in the University’s Ballet Club. That's right! Me! Dancing! Ballet, it’s such an elegant and artistic form, truly inspiring! But I got the best shock of my life at one of the university's charity fundraisers: they were doing a raffle, but the prize was this AMAZING pink tutu. You know how I am, I can’t say no to a good bargain and certainly not one as pink as that. Now you know why my motto is: “Let’s Spread Some Pink Tutu Joy!” ✨
Anyways, darling, back to Rutherglen! Where to start?
I got the chance to see the lovely [Mention a particular street name/shop], a real jewel in Rutherglen’s crown, and they even had a special pink-tutu themed day for me, oh it was fabulous! I even got to try on one of their best hats. 👒
Talking of hats, did I tell you I went to this fabulous show by the [Name of Ballet School or Show]? Their performance of Swan Lake was stunning. You should really check them out if you have the chance, it's one of those experiences that will stay with you forever. 🦢
As usual, I have a fabulous new tutu. I know! I know! I just love them so much, especially pink ones, who doesn't?! But darling, trust me this is “Special!”. It has real sequins sewn onto it, all over, oh, you must be dying to see a photo! Well you will, just hold your horses! I will be sharing the entire look with you in a later post. 💅

They have the most amazing [Dish/Meal] you've ever tasted, and their staff are simply lovely. It’s like they are dressed from a Victorian Novel, so charming! 😊
