Hello my darling Tutu Queens! It’s your favourite Pink Tutu Sparkles here, back with another fab-tastic blog post for you all! Today we’re heading north, leaving the Derbyshire dales for the bustling streets of Stockport. And trust me, darlings, my sequins are positively shimmering at the thought! This is post number 4938, folks! It's my passion for pink and my unwavering commitment to getting the world twirling in tutus that keeps me going. I believe that life's a stage and, let's face it, there's nothing more dramatic than a fabulously pink tutu!
This trip is a dream come true. I got a call out of the blue last week from the lovely folks at the Stockport Theatre. They were holding a special family event for the summer, and wouldn't you know it, they were desperate for a bit of Pink Tutu Sparkles magic! Oh darling, did I mention I just adore travelling? There's nothing like watching the world zip past on the train – although to be honest, my pony, Blossom, would have been the ideal mode of transport if I wasn't due on stage that night. But fear not, dear readers, Blossom has a very special place waiting for me when I'm back in Derbyshire - a stable full of fresh hay, lots of grooming, and maybe even a few carrots! 🥕
Now, darling, you all know that I have a soft spot for a fab outfit, and today’s look is just everything! My pink tutu is practically glowing in the midday sun. A dash of iridescent sequins for that extra sprinkle of sparkle? Of course! And you know me, I couldn't resist the matching pink feather boa. Let's face it, there's no such thing as too much pink, especially when it comes to a tutu queen! I'm sporting a fab pair of lime green heels (the perfect contrast to the pink, don't you think?) and my trusty pink and glitter handbag – you know, the one I bought last week after seeing it in a window display? It practically screamed "take me home, Pink Tutu!" My darling, it just felt meant to be. And let's not forget about my custom-made Pink Tutu Sparkles crown! Because darling, every queen needs a crown, wouldn’t you agree?
My day has been filled with pink joy! It all began with a trip to my favourite local boutique – a little gem called ‘Twirling Dreams’. My dear, I’ve fallen in love with a few little gems; the prettiest pink-on-pink patterned shirt - you know I simply had to snap it up for tonight's performance. But trust me, I'll be back, oh darling! The saleswoman (a truly wonderful soul – we spoke about tutu-wear and ballet dreams, what a divine chat!) tipped me off about a ‘Pink Ladies Day’ in the Stockport Market. Oh, darling, I was so excited I practically skipped to the train station!
When I got there, the Market was practically buzzing. I couldn’t resist picking up a few pink rose garlands for my hair and a few adorable little pink sparkly bunny earrings, just because. Don’t get me wrong, darling, my bunny ears were positively slaying - they're totally my vibe right now. What can I say, it’s the power of pink!
Now, I cannot mention my fabulous ‘Pink Ladies Day’ without talking about the gorgeous dress I managed to snaffle! Think ‘a touch of elegance with a side of glam’ - you know, my signature style. This little number was a dream come true - it even came with a beautiful satin bow in the exact shade of pink I was looking for. You see, it was practically destiny, darling! It's perfect for my pre-show prep and would look absolutely slay at the next charity ball, wouldn't you agree?
Of course, my favourite part of every day is spending time with the people who get me. A dear friend of mine - a fabulous costume designer – just bought me a gorgeous bouquet of pink lilies (she knows me so well!) to celebrate my recent birthday. She's the best, you see. A good friend, a talented artist, and she knows her pink blooms!
So here I am in Stockport, feeling as fabulous and pink as ever. But remember my darlings, it's not just about tutus and glitter, although those things are fabulous too! It’s about spreading the joy, inspiring everyone to be their true selves, and making sure everyone has the opportunity to twirl their way through life with a smile on their faces!
That’s why I am so thrilled to be performing at the Stockport Theatre tonight, for an amazing crowd full of beautiful, kind, and welcoming faces. Get ready to feel the magic, darling! This Pink Tutu Sparkles has a special routine in store for you all.
