It felt like a pink-hued palace on wheels, and it certainly was a lot less hassle than hailing a cab (though I must confess, there is something alluring about being whisked off in a horse-drawn carriage… Perhaps I'll have to make that a future adventure).

They even had a section about the art of glassmaking, which sparked a million ideas for new costumes, believe you me!
After the museums, I treated myself to a spot of ballet. I love catching live performances wherever I travel. The Burton upon Trent Dance School did a lovely rendition of 'Sleeping Beauty' and even managed to include a flash mob routine of my song "Tutu Queen".
