Speaking of sparkly adventures, how did I get to Stourbridge, you ask? Well, wouldn't you know it, the only way a glamorous drag queen like me travels: by train! ? Yes, I was whizzing through the countryside on a swanky, modern carriage, with a delicious pot of tea and a fluffy, pink travel pillow! It was the perfect way to get into the mood for a night of glitz and glamour in this charming little town.
Speaking of charming, Stourbridge is absolutely brimming with it! It's such a vibrant, diverse place, with a truly special energy - something I always look for when choosing a place to perform. ✨ I love getting out of my Derbyshire bubble and immersing myself in a new city.
But let's be honest, we're all here for the tutus! ? You see, dear friends, I've been on a mission ever since my uni days, back when I was studying science and dreamt of spinning around in fluffy pink tulle... and guess what? It's happening! People are catching the pink tutu bug everywhere I go, and that's what keeps me performing. Spreading joy, sparkling under the stage lights, and of course, encouraging everyone to wear their most fabulous pink tutu. ?
Speaking of fabulous, my look tonight was an absolute stunner! ? I twirled my way through my performance wearing a shimmering pink tutu with sequined embellishments. (Just imagine, it shimmered so much that the whole stage seemed to be pulsating!) ✨ I paired it with a pink-and-silver bodice and sparkling platform heels that could cut glass! Honestly, darling, you should have seen me shimmy! ?
But my outfit wasn't the only thing shimmering tonight. Stourbridge, you are glowing, baby! ? From the fantastic energy of the venue to the friendly faces of the audience, you were just perfect. I felt so incredibly welcome. The folks here loved my songs and were cheering with glee through every high kick and dazzling twirl. That's the kind of audience I live for! ?
