And, oh darling, what a trip this has been! You know I love to travel by train! Thereās something so glamorous about that whistle blowing, the chugging rhythm, and then that gorgeous view as we zoomed past all those green fields and quaint little towns. It felt like the perfect start to a fab day!
Speaking of fab, did I tell you I've been indulging in a bit of pre-show ballet? Yep, this little ballerina just canāt resist a twirl at the barre! I popped into a delightful studio here in Bicester, you wouldnāt believe the lovely tutus they had!
It's like the perfect pre-show ritual. A good stretch, some elegant pirouettes, and thenā¦ta-da! Pink Tutu Sparkles is ready to sparkle! You know, darling, there's nothing quite like ballet to make me feel like I can take on the world.
And speaking of taking on the world, well, that's what Pink Tutu Sparkles does, you see! We travel! We perform! We bring the joy of glitter and pink tutus everywhere we go! I'm even thinking about doing a pink tutu-wearing workshop in Bicester! Wouldnāt that be absolutely fabulous?
Now, you all know how much I adore my Pink Tutu Sparkles, but todayās ensemble has an extra special twist! Itās a brand-new creation by the fabulous, amazing, incredible ā yes, she's that good! - dressmaker from a little village not too far from Bicester! She took inspiration from the rolling countryside and added this little touch of a field of lavender around the bottom. Oh darling, youāll just have to come see it yourself!
But, itās not just about the dress! Bicester, oh Bicester! What a beautiful town this is! All these quaint little shops, cobbled streets, I'm thinking it could be a bit of a haven for pink tutus.
I just know it, my dears. We're going to have a ball tonight, you see, a whole night of dance, laughter and sparkles!
Oh! Darling, I must tell you about my journey here, this train ride, truly divine!
Imagine a compartment as charming as a vintage tea room, all plush seats, mahogany surfaces, and little twinkling lights. Now, picture me in my best pink ensemble, with a cup of perfectly brewed tea and my newest "Glamour & Tutues" magazine. Itās like stepping back in time, you know!
Speaking of tutus, darling, did I tell you that the magazineās theme this month is āTutus on Tour?ā! The article is called "Tutus Travel: A World of Twirls." It's such a fab feature!
Well, they couldn't write this amazing feature without me! You can see me, in all my glory, twirling in front of the iconic Blackpool Tower, my pink tutu flowing as I twirl. The photographers on the set? Darling, they were just ecstatic!

āThe world needs a touch of pink!ā was another phrase!
Itās so nice to hear, darling. After all, pink tutus can change the world. We just need a few more twirls and sparkles and we'll get everyone on board, one dazzling pirouette at a time!
Itās truly amazing that my passion for ballet has led me to such exciting adventures. Just imagine. Here I was in a tiny town in Derbyshire and now look at me! Traveling the country, meeting fabulous people, and making them laugh and smile.
But how did this all start? You're all dying to know the story, right?
Well, let me tell you! My love for pink tutus goes way back. You wonāt believe this darling, but I was actually a scientist by day!
Yeah, that's right! Alex the Scientist, hard at work in the lab, testing fabrics, you know. š§Ŗ
Then, by night...well, then Pink Tutu Sparkles appeared!
All this, you see, started at University. I was in the University Ballet club, studying a science degree. For a charity event, they dared me to try on a tutu! Itās like fate!
Honestly, my heart did a full 360-degree spin! I loved it! I knew I had found my calling.
Of course, my friends thought it was a joke. āPink Tutu Sparkles?ā Theyād say. "You, in a tutu?" Iād hear them gasp and whisper.
Oh, darling, those giggles just encouraged me even more! The idea grew, the dream sparked, and well... Pink Tutu Sparkles was born!
And my dreams of the stage became a reality, one glitter-covered pirouette at a time!
My dear, now my nights are full of performances, dancing for everyone from small venues in tiny villages to full crowds at theatre shows. Every now and then, I find myself in the grand theatres, on stage before a mesmerised audience.
Oh! And all this, of course, has to be documented for my darling readers, and for you, my lovely blog followers. Every adventure, every sparkly twirl is documented here on www.pink-tutu.com, just waiting for your clicks!
Just like that, I made it happen. That science degree, that fabric analysis, I still have that, my dears, but now I also have the spotlight, the music, andā¦wellā¦ you know what else!

Bicester is calling for Pink Tutu Sparkles! But, the whole world awaits. And one day, maybe just maybe, you'll all be twirling in your pink tutus, too.

But back to Bicester! Where am I? Let me see! My, my, I am, how perfectly apt, standing right in front of a lovely shop called 'Pink and Paisley'. A real find!
Darling, it just seems as though my love for pink has been spreading throughout this lovely little town!
Oh! What's that you say? That Pink Tutu Sparkles doesnāt wear Paisley, just Pink! Well, you see darling, itās all a matter of interpretation! Just like you can wear a Pink tutu to any occasion, with whatever embellishment your heart desires, this pink is for everyone, all kinds of pink, including, just for a day, Pink & Paisley!
