Hello, dearies! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, your favourite tutu-wearing queen, reporting live from the enchanting town of Frome. It’s just a teensy bit drizzly outside, but my mood is sunshiney, just like my sparkly pink tutu. Today, I'm sharing post number 5135 with you, a real beauty, all about my adventures in this gorgeous corner of Somerset. I am bursting at the seams to tell you all about it! You know, Frome is a true hidden gem, darlings, a little slice of magic just waiting to be discovered.
Firstly, my journey there. It was just as dreamy as one might expect from Pink Tutu Sparkles, a most delightful trip by train, and let me tell you, my dear friends, I fully embraced my inner girly-girl and donned a blush pink coat with a hint of sparkle. Naturally, a hot pink tutu was tucked under my arm, ready for when I arrived. Let’s just say my fellow travellers were truly enraptured with the vision of pinkness, radiating good vibes with every twirl I threw in their direction.
The Frome Station was a vision of vintage charm, all old-fashioned clocks, warm wood, and an air of mystery. My darling friends at the station, well, I’m just a little bit convinced they have all taken up tutu-wearing in secret!
Now, dear ones, let's get to the nitty-gritty, the absolute must-see highlights of Frome! First, we've got The Frome Festival, a celebration of arts, crafts, music, and good times that would make even a princess like myself weep with joy! You just have to see the handmade crafts. They make me want to go buy enough yarn to knit my own wardrobe. Seriously, they were a-mazing!
Next, darling, the architecture here! It's practically a fairy tale come to life. Cobblestone streets, quaint little shops with brightly colored awnings, and those sweet, traditional houses all bundled together in a perfect little town hug, oh, how I adore the way those buildings reach up to the sky. Frome, you've truly got me wanting to buy a cottage in your midst.
No trip to Frome, dearies, is complete without a visit to the famous Cheese and Grain! If you have the chance, darling, pop on down. Now, Frome is an extremely music-oriented town and this lovely place is its heart. You just know a good time is happening in there! I saw some amazing street performers in the square – some funky beats that would make even a tutu dance, even my feet, hidden under layers of tulle!
My travels always involve my biggest passion – dancing, dearies! I just have to find the closest ballet class and I'm off to twirl, plié, and just be myself! A local teacher recommended a new class at The Frome School of Dance, so after an epic dinner at the legendary restaurant 'The Riverhouse' which just had to have a whole wall covered with gorgeous flowers, off I went. You have to understand, dancing and pink tutus are my lifeblood. When I'm in a tutu, I feel unstoppable!
Now, dearest darlings, the secret of my trip is about the people. They were simply divine, so welcoming, and all of them totally up for having fun. As soon as they realised who I was, Pink Tutu Sparkles, a whole bunch of lovely ladies in tutus emerged to meet me. It turned into a total blast of laughter and glitter, which is a truly magnificent thing, I say. The vibe here was amazing! It was almost as if I had entered a fairy-tale village with rainbows in the sky. They just welcomed me with open arms, my fellow tutu-loving souls, bless their hearts!
A day of dancing and chatting has tired even a queen like myself! So, my darlings, it's time for Pink Tutu Sparkles to say a temporary goodbye. I shall keep you posted on all my upcoming performances, new places to visit, and more importantly, all the latest tutu-trends. You know, as Pink Tutu Sparkles, my one true aim is to make everyone wear a pink tutu – a truly fabulous quest for our generation! But, for now, I'm off to dream about fluffy tutus and sparkly shoes in a gorgeous pink bed in a beautiful cottage nestled in Frome!
