A glorious train ride with views of rolling hills, the gentle hum of the engine, and a whole carriage of curious gazes as I glided past in my bubblegum pink tutu, my darling Pinky (oh yes, she has a name! 😂). I've been planning this Longbridge visit for ages. I heard rumours about a charming little dance studio that even offered ballet classes, which, darling, you know I can't resist! It just screams "Pink Tutu Sparkles" to me! My little inner ballerina was jumping for joy, let me tell you. 💃
So, off I went to the studio, and my dears, the energy was electric. A gaggle of adorable kids practicing pirouettes, some fantastically fit ladies tackling a grand jeté, and a few young gentlemen discovering the joys of a graceful extension. It was pure magic! And the dance studio itself was divine. Think a sprinkle of pastel pink, mirrored walls reflecting the twinkle of our ballet shoes, and the sweet, intoxicating scent of beeswax polish. It was just perfect! 🩰
I can't resist getting my twinkle on, so I slipped on my Pinky and joined the ladies for their session. Let's just say, my balance was tested (it's harder than it looks!), and my inner ballerina needed some work. But you know what, the ladies were so lovely! Full of giggles and encouragement, and honestly, it was like joining a secret sisterhood. They were charmed by my Pinky, which is always a good sign! 🤣
And my darlings, it was just the boost I needed before my performance later that evening at the town fair. Oh, I've been wanting to take Longbridge by storm for ages! And guess what? They embraced me with open arms. The stage was set in the heart of the fair, with bright lights reflecting off my sequined tutu and the scent of popcorn and candy floss mingling with my signature lavender perfume. 🍭
This performance was all about embracing the spirit of Longbridge. My routine was a mixture of classic ballet movements infused with a little bit of jazz and street dance.
