#TutuQueen: Rugby - A Rugby Blitz of Pink! (Blog Post #5250)

Darlings! This #TutuQueen has landed in Rugby! Can you believe it? Me, a girl who loves nothing more than a graceful pirouette, smack bang in the middle of a rugby town! But don't worry, lovelies, my trusty pink tutu is up to the challenge.

Let's face it, I'm known for bringing a bit of sparkle to any event, and I’ve even got the rugby lads a little bit 'Tutu'ed out here! It's been an absolute blast! I've been busy touring the town and soaking up the local charm. I mean, what's a TutuQueen without a good bit of exploration, right?

Rugby, You’ve Been a Treat!

My journey started on the 16th of May, as I chugged into Rugby station on a lovely train. My luggage was all packed and ready to go, as was my brand new sparkly pink tutu, with silver embroidery. You've got to understand, a TutuQueen never travels light! A new tutu is a must for each adventure, and every single one needs its own gorgeous handbag - oh, and of course my tiara needs its own specially-designed pink satin lined case! (That’s what we call luxury here at #PinkTutu).

A Real ‘Rugby Blitz’ of Events!

Rugby's been nothing short of fantastic, darling. It's just a charming little town with friendly folks! My days have been full of the most fabulous experiences! On my very first night here, I took to the stage for a fundraiser. Let me tell you, there was more than a touch of glitz and glamour when this little tutu twirled and stomped!

The next morning, I found myself at the Rugby Rugby Club doing a very special 'Tutu' lesson! I thought the lads might have given me a funny look, but by the end of it, we were all feeling fabulously Pink Tutu fabulous! And by the way, they had quite a good grasp of a good twirl!

And to round out my Rugby extravaganza, I popped over to Caldecott Park. Such a charming spot for a pink tutu and her friend, Dolly, a beautiful miniature sheepdog, I mean, she did almost steal my crown and get stuck, but there’s nothing a bit of a gentle yank of the ribbons and a 'darling’ can't sort out. Dolly’s not a big fan of tutus so it’s a wonder she even comes with me.

Oh! And I even met the legendary “Rugby Legend, the Great * RUGBY MAN’. I mean he couldn’t quite tell if I was a *'tutu dancer' or ‘some sort of ballerina'. * It just made me laugh my tutu socks off! He was a darling, even asked to try on my *sparkling, pink crown * , and as soon as I put it on his head he looked completely enthralled and started to move as if he’d been a *TutuQueen * for his whole life!

Well now, I know you’re all desperate to know about the pinkest * and most *‘Tutuest’ outfit I brought with me. You see it’s *NOT just any tutu, it’s the one my grandma gave me for my 21st birthday! It has pink satin and she sewed thousands of glitter stars on the skirt. I wear it everywhere! In fact I even went for a picnic and even danced on the banks of the *Avon River, * ( it's such a picturesque little spot!). And I even bought a souvenir, darling. A beautiful pink and sparkly *pink’ rugby ball! Because if the *TutuQueen’ can't play rugby, then who can? Now that’s the tutu story.

And remember lovelies, keep following the #PinkTutu! My website www.pink-tutu.com is where it all begins, every single day I bring a new, exciting pink tutu story for all you lovelies! Stay fabulous and always remember: * Every single day is a perfect day to be pink !*
