Oh darling, it's time to twirl into the latest Pink Tutu Sparkles adventures! Today, the journey takes me to Mitcham - a charming town that has just a sprinkle of sparkle and fabulous magic about it, even before I get to show them my stuff! But first, darling, let me tell you about the journey.
I love travelling by train. You know how much I adore pink and sparkle, and let's be honest, trains are so much more sophisticated than those dreary old buses! It gives me time to catch up on some glamourous reading (okay, maybe a few fashion magazines!), write a bit in my pink sparkly diary and people watch - always an amusing spectacle!
Arriving in Mitcham was like stepping into a scene from a classic musical! The air was bright and sparkly, the sun was shining like a disco ball, and the crowds were already brimming with excitement and fun.
Now, don't let me get ahead of myself, I promised you all a little background on this glamorous journey. See, darling, this isn't just a simple day out! I'm actually here for a rather special gig! Mitcham has this fabulous annual festival, a real celebration of art, music and dance, you know my style. And, get this, they specifically wanted a drag act - who better to bring tutu magic to the event? Pink Tutu Sparkles herself, of course!
Imagine a stage, all lit up and shimmering, the crowd roaring with excitement... and me, in my stunning pink tutu. That's right darling, a bespoke creation just for this gig! We're talking a flurry of pink tulle, glitter, and just the right amount of glamourous flair. And the crowd? Absolutely captivated by my routines. I can't tell you the details just yet, but let's just say, lots of twirling, lots of sparkles, and the kind of show stopping performance that makes Pink Tutu Sparkles, well, Pink Tutu Sparkles!
But even though I was the main attraction, I still had time for a bit of local exploration. Mitcham has such lovely little shops - you'd be amazed by all the quirky treasures! I spotted a vintage brooch that'd perfectly complete my next look (don't worry darling, you'll be the first to see it on my next post!). And I just had to stop for some delicious cream tea - you can never have enough sugar, right?!
As the sun began to set, casting long shadows, I said farewell to this delightful little town. It left me inspired by its spirit of fun, warmth, and community. You know me, I just can't get enough of that!
And what about the biggest highlight of the day? Let me give you a hint, it involved a young boy, a pink tutu, and the biggest smile you've ever seen!
