Hello lovelies! 💖 It's your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles, bringing you post number 5332 from the sparkling seaside town of Ramsgate! 🌊☀️ This charming little place on the Kent coast has totally stolen my tutu-clad heart!
Today's adventure was all about a sparkling ballet performance - the "Sea Nymphs & Mermaid Dreams" show, held in the charming Royal Hotel. I swear, even the salty air was infused with glitz and grace! 😍 As soon as I sashayed into that elegant space, I felt a wave of pure inspiration wash over me. Can you believe the Royal Hotel's grand ballroom even had a gorgeous crystal chandelier? It was practically begging for me to spin and twirl under it, all decked out in my stunning custom pink tutu and a fabulous pair of shimmery heels. 👠✨
The show itself was absolutely divine! I loved how the dancers took inspiration from the sea, their movements fluid and graceful like seaweed flowing in the currents. And those costumes, oh darling, you just wouldn't believe! The shimmery blues and greens just brought the entire show to life! 🐠🌊 I got so inspired by the dancers, I even caught myself mimicking some of their moves at my table - luckily, my best friend and fellow drag aficionado, Freddie Fabulous, was there to applaud! 💖
And speaking of Freddie, we decided to treat ourselves to a little afternoon tea at the adorable Cafe Delight. They have the cutest little pink teacups and saucers - I had to grab a photo for you lovelies! 🥰 The scones were absolutely to die for and, oh my goodness, they even served raspberry jam! Divine!
Freddie was also tickled pink with the cafe's gorgeous window display - a rainbow assortment of hats and vintage parasols - all so charming! It truly captures the joie de vivre of Ramsgate, and you just know this town loves a little bit of sparkle! 👒🌈💖
Later in the evening, I decided to treat myself to some shopping - my tutu-wearing heart cannot resist a good thrift store! The little shop on the seafront, Treasures & Trinkets, was a dream come true! It's filled with vintage treasures and fabulous finds - perfect for transforming an old skirt into a magnificent, shimmering tutu! Imagine how dazzling it would be with some pink ribbons and sequined flowers! 😍 My head's swirling with possibilities, I just need to make it happen! 🧵✨
As the sun started to set, Freddie and I enjoyed a delicious takeaway fish and chips - they even had a pink and white paper bag - just like they have in all those seaside films! And speaking of film, this little town just oozes cinematic charm - I could almost imagine Kenneth More and his cheeky grin waltzing around those narrow lanes! I just love places like this where time seems to slow down a bit and you can truly indulge in the little things that make life feel fabulous!
Oh, my darling, did I mention we found the most amazing seaside walk just a stone's throw away from our hotel? 🏖️ I swear, it's like something out of a picture book! The sky was just a breathtakingly beautiful shade of pink, mirroring the stunning blooms of the vibrant lavender fields nearby - oh, how I love lavender - so soft and pretty! Just another little detail that made our day extra special! 💜✨
