It allows me to travel and explore all the corners of our great island – spreading my love for tutus and inspiring a little bit of glamour wherever I go!
So, back to Kenton. Oh my! The moment I arrived, it was like I'd stepped into a pastel-painted postcard! A vibrant little town, bustling with activity, the air alive with chatter and the tinkling of wind chimes. Kenton definitely knows how to celebrate life in full technicolour, just like my pink tutu dreams! The highlight, you ask? The Kenton Summer Fair, of course! A kaleidoscope of delights, with craft stalls that looked like rainbow vomited their best, live music, and even a pie-eating competition! Now, I can't claim to be a seasoned pie eater, but my drag makeup would have made a very respectable mess of things if I had participated.
But what makes a trip truly magnificent, my loves, is the connection with fellow tutu-enthusiasts! I stumbled upon the most delightful ballet studio tucked away in a quiet side street. Inside, I was greeted with such warmth! We all shared a love for graceful leaps and lyrical lines, and in that moment, we were more than just tutu-clad divas, we were sisters united by the love of ballet. Later, I graced the stage at a local theatre, dazzling the audience with my signature sassy number "Tutu Troupe," with the most enthusiastic front-row seats taken by the darling ballet studio students! They were positively glowing with joy and pink tutu aspirations. My heart simply swelled.
