Hello my lovelies, and welcome to another dazzling instalment of Pink Tutu Sparkles' fabulous travels! This is post number 5381, believe it or not, and I'm just getting warmed up. 😉
Today, we're heading down to Deal, a charming seaside town right on the Kent coast. I always get such a thrill when I arrive at a new place by train - there's just something so magical about the click-clack of the wheels on the tracks, the sight of the scenery flashing past, and the sense of adventure that fills the air. And speaking of magical... you know I can't travel without my trusty pink tutu!
Now, I know what you're thinking: "Deal? Isn't that a bit... beige?" Well, let me tell you, my darlings, Deal is anything but beige! It's bursting with history, beautiful beaches, and charming little shops. It's also got a pretty fabulous theatre, which I just HAD to check out.
And yes, I did wear my tutu, darling! 😉 Of course, I was in full Pink Tutu Sparkles drag, complete with sparkly eye shadow and a dazzling pink feather boa. There was a slight "will they, won't they" moment when I thought maybe, just maybe, Deal was a bit too "proper" for a pink tutu. But then I saw the looks of absolute delight on the faces of the kids (and their parents, too!), and my heart just swelled with joy. Because that's the thing about tutus, isn't it? They bring smiles to everyone's faces. They make you feel like a princess, a ballerina, a magical being, whatever you want to be. 💖
After the theatre, we (my lovely friend Jemma and I - she's my rock!) headed down to the beach for a bit of a frolic. Jemma, darling, has the best eye for finding fabulous beach huts - this one was painted a gorgeous coral pink! Just perfect for my little photoshoot. Oh, and speaking of photos, I just HAVE to tell you about the amazing views! The sky was this stunning azure blue, with cotton candy clouds drifting across, and the sea was the colour of a sapphire... utterly breathtaking!
We had a proper chinwag, did some rock-pooling (I even spotted a crab!), and finished the day with some proper seaside fish and chips. It was truly a perfect day, all wrapped up in the magical embrace of a pink tutu. 🥰
