It's your favourite Pink Tutu Sparkles here, bringing you post number 5473 from the dazzling and delightful metropolis of Hammersmith! Yes, I'm back on the road again, spreading glitter and good vibes wherever I go. This time, I'm not just here for the glamour - though there's plenty of that, darling - but also for a special, extra sparkly reason: a magical performance at the beautiful Hammersmith Apollo! ✨
This glamorous, historic venue is definitely one of my favourite spots for a performance, it has a bit of old-fashioned charm and enough glamour to make a drag queen like me swoon! 💖
Now, you might be wondering how a simple girl like me - who can't even find her way out of the back of her wardrobe - gets to perform in such an iconic venue. Well, darlings, it's a combination of a good dose of fabulous, a sprinkling of pixie dust, and the determination of a hundred ballerinas in a barre class! 😉
As you all know, my life's ambition is to get everyone wearing a pink tutu. (I do know this might be a tad challenging in the average chemistry lab, but hey, gotta try! 🤣) Well, this trip was born out of just that. You see, Hammersmith has the most gorgeous boutique - aptly named 'The Tutu Boutique' - full of frills, feathers and all the pinkest tutus your heart could desire! 💖 Of course, I just had to stop by and pay them a visit - and what's a fabulous visit to a boutique like this without a little impromptu fashion show? 😜
This spontaneous performance caught the eye of a rather discerning and charming gentleman from the Hammersmith Apollo - oh, the things you can accomplish with a little bit of glitter, darling! - He loved my energy and, most importantly, my ability to make a pink tutu look positively dazzling, and offered me a spot in their spectacular holiday lineup! 🤩 I practically did a pirouette on the spot! And the rest, as they say, is history. 😉
But enough about the glitter, darlings, let's talk travel! 💖 Because I know you're all itching to know how this fabulous, tutu-clad queen got herself from Derbyshire, through the lovely countryside and straight into the heart of London town! ✨
Now, I love nothing more than a good old-fashioned train journey. There's something about the gentle rhythmic rocking of the train, the stunning views flying past your window, and the wonderful characters you encounter along the way... it all makes for the most splendidly fabulous trip. 🚄
This time though, I decided to embrace my inner ballerina a little bit and opted for something a little bit more dramatic: horseback riding! 🏇🏼 You might think I'm a bit of a risk-taker, but I believe in pushing boundaries, especially if it involves wearing a fluffy tutu and making a dramatic entrance! 😜 Let me tell you, the eyes on the tube were more than worth the thrill of my gallops through the countryside!

The glamour, the magic, the ballet - and of course, the dazzling tutus! 💖 I am leaving my heart in the Apollo for a bit (along with my trusty glitter wand), but you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be back with more stories, more glamour and more pink tutus to spread around the world! 🤩
