Hey darlings,
Itās your favourite pink-tutu-clad queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, reporting live from the wonderful Ellesmere Port! Buckle up, because this is going to be a fabulous ride.
Firstly, letās talk about the train journey. I do love travelling by train ā itās so much more civilised than a plane! My little pink suitcase with all my sparkly sequins was perfectly nestled on the luggage rack. The train journey was such a great way to catch up on all the latest in the fashion world, I even had a spot of afternoon tea. Pink, of course. I felt like a glamorous Hollywood star, just me, my lipstick and the rhythmic chugging of the train!
Now, you wouldn't believe what I saw in Ellesmere Port! Oh, it was simply sparkly and splendid! A giant, fluffy pink cloud! Yes, a giant pink fluffy cloud. Not actually a real cloud, of course. Well, it could have been real - a pink real cloudā¦ who knows what crazy things can happen in Ellesmere Port! Turns out it was a fantastically massive pink balloon strung up by the station! So pink, so magnificent! Oh, I am truly in love with this place!
Arriving in Ellesmere Port was a little different than Iād imagined, it wasnāt as grand and historic as some of the places Iāve visited. Moreā¦ wellā¦ industrial. But still, a new adventure! I must say I fell for its down-to-earth charm, a certain āweāre proud of our history and we like it rough and tumbleā attitude. And speaking of "tumble", my act involves quite a bit of, wellā¦ tumbling and twirling. (I actually did ballet at uniā¦ remember those awesome days?). This town is already preparing for me! My first gig here is tomorrow night - Iām at a fancy, swanky hotel. They have an event with āThe best in entertainmentā, as their blurb boasted! It just couldnāt have been more perfect, I feel like Ellesmere Port is embracing my pink and sparkly dream!
Oh, and before I forget, remember my little passion for tutus? Well, the day I left my comfy Derbyshire abode, I picked up a gorgeous pink fluffy tutu. I know, I know, "another pink tutu Alex?". Itās simply irresistible, It's like a pink cloud on my own little cloud of fabric, itās going to make my entrance absolutely magnificent! So expect me in that bad boy tomorrow night! I might even throw in a bit of my āThe Nutcrackerā routine!
Speaking of routinesā¦I know youāre all eager to know what happened after my lovely afternoon tea on the train. Now, a secret (just between you and me) is that after a spot of āpink-teaā I took the opportunity to slip into the first class carriage! You wouldnāt believe how comfy and luxurious it was, perfect for catching up on the latest blogs and tweets, making sure everyone in my orbit is wearing pinkā¦ Itās all part of my mission, my darlings! Pink for everyone!
I did a little impromptu performance thereā¦ just a small wiggle in the aisle. But guess what, that got a great response! I might have started a pink revolution on the 15:07! There was one lady on the train who had a pair of beautiful pink leather shoes! Now those I could not resist complementing. Oh darling, she sparkled and blushed in pink!
Ok, now I have to stop - my lovely tutu is demanding attention - it needs to be carefully unpacked, fluffed, and, of course, adorned with all the dazzling glitter and sequins necessary! After that, it's a bit of make up practice, a glass of something bubbly, and, oh! I must find the local dance shopā¦ It just has to be in Ellesmere Port. I know it will be, the perfect tutu for my performance is calling my name.
