Today marks the start of a whirlwind weekend filled with sequins, glitter, and of course, pink tutus. Yes, you heard right, I'm taking my glamorous act to the North East, bringing a sprinkle of sparkle to the coast. This is going to be an epic adventure!
Now, you might be thinking, "North Shields? Isn't that a bit...unconventional for a queen like you, Pink Tutu Sparkles?" To which I say, "Absolutely not! Every place deserves a taste of pink-tutu magic, don't you think? Besides, a girl's gotta love a good seaside trip, especially when it involves charming cobblestone streets, a sea breeze, and an ocean view."
This week I'm feeling very nautical and whimsical. Picture this: a crisp white sailor top tucked into a voluminous pink tutu, topped off with a flamboyant, feather-trimmed sailor hat, my face shimmering with the soft glow of pink and silver glitter. Let's just say I'm ready to rock the stage, and I'm also ready for the seaside promenade, with my hair styled into a soft, ocean wave, like I'm ready to dive into the salty breeze!
Of course, I couldn't let this weekend go by without indulging in a little retail therapy. My travel wardrobe is practically begging for a refresh, and North Shields has a surprisingly charming high street with independent boutiques, tucked away corners promising treasures just for me! Can't wait to find the perfect addition to my ever-growing tutu collection. You can imagine it's quite a collection!
And let's not forget about the amazing theatre scene in North Shields. My trip wouldn't be complete without taking in a show. I hear they have a delightful ballet company performing a classic story. Of course, a good ballet performance gets those creative juices flowing!
Speaking of inspiration, let's talk about my journey to North Shields. You'll never guess how I arrived… by train, naturally! Nothing quite beats the rhythmic clinking of train tracks, a hot cuppa, and a good book as a travelling companion. Oh, and let's not forget my meticulously chosen pink travel bag bursting with pink tulle, sparkly tights, and my signature feather boa!
