It's time for me to grace the Northern stages with my dazzling performance and my ever-so-slightly-pink-tinged, positively bubbly, take on life.
Now, I must admit, I love my travel adventures, whether I'm speeding through the countryside in a dashing red train carriage or galloping through the open fields on a majestic steed. But let's face it, nothing beats the magic of a proper train journey. That plush-seat, window-seat-facing-the-sunshine, cup-of-tea-in-hand, feel-the-world-whooshing-past kinda vibe. It's truly the best, don't you think?
I love that travelling allows me to soak in the energy of different places. Even though I'm on a tight budget, I never compromise on my glam, darling. It's all about making the most of my situation and turning a simple train ride into a full-blown fashion parade! A statement scarf, a dash of glitter, and of course, a fluffy, vibrant pink tutu that dances with every clickety-clack of the wheels – that's my recipe for a fabulously glamorous journey.
Manchester, I'm coming for you! My latest tour outfit is ready, and it's positively spectacular! Imagine a burst of shimmering pink, accented by a glittering crown of pearls. You see, even my crown needs to match my outfit! I call it "The Queen of the North" ensemble. The shimmering tutu, reminiscent of the Northern Lights, reflects the magic of the area and embodies the sheer sparkle that makes up my persona. You know I'm not a queen without a plan, so here's the breakdown of my fabulous Manchester adventure. It all kicks off with a trip to the Manchester Art Gallery. I hear they have some truly stunning paintings and a fantastic display of sculptures! We all know I have a soft spot for all things creative, and a dose of artistry before my performance is exactly what I need! After all, inspiration can strike at any time, darling! Plus, wouldn't it be fab to find a pink tutu in the collection? Now that would be a real fashion story for the ages.
The following day is my grand entrance on the Manchester stage! The anticipation is palpable, darlings! A stage lit in pink, a full, bouncy pink tutu, a whole host of my iconic moves and tunes… it's going to be a real showstopper! You know I've been rehearsing my routines till the wee hours. But, when I hear the cheers of the crowd and see the shimmering pink tutu reflecting the stage lights, all those late nights feel totally worth it! My performances aren’t just shows, they’re celebrations, they’re moments of sheer, unabashed joy, and most importantly, they’re opportunities for all of you to see just how magical a pink tutu can be!
I just know my audience is going to love me! Everyone who watches my shows gets a little dose of sparkle in their lives. It's contagious, darling, and I just love that! Even though I started wearing tutus back when I was studying for a science degree, you know, that weird little bit of pink magic just resonated with me and blossomed into the drag sensation that you see now!
The truth is, I just love sharing that joy with the world! I even spent a whole day teaching some kids how to put on their own fantastic shows in their living rooms with the aid of a DIY pink tutu. (The materials cost practically nothing, so they didn’t need their parents’ permission!) Imagine it: a pink-tuted little dance extravaganza! Talk about bringing joy to every little soul out there. We even made an oversized, super fluffy pink tutu for the classroom… and they called me ‘The Fairy Tutu Queen’. It's heartwarming, darlings, it's magical, it's pink!

It's as though it's waiting for another touch of pink to illuminate its urban landscape. Maybe, just maybe, we’ll even see the whole of Manchester adorned in a massive pink tutu – imagine the picture-perfect opportunity that would be, darling!
