Hello darlings! It’s Pink Tutu Sparkles here, ready to whisk you away on another glittering adventure. This time, I’m heading to the charming town of Huyton, a real jewel in the crown of Lancashire.
It all started as usual – with me perusing my trusty online railway timetable, eyes darting for the perfect train connection. Of course, this meant a double-check that my luggage was prepared. After all, no proper performance, especially one with the divine Pink Tutu Sparkles in the spotlight, is complete without a suitcase bursting with my finest glittery creations! A couple of my go-to sparkly bodices, my favourite pink sequinned top, a selection of feather boas, and – naturally, the highlight – my tutu collection. You can’t travel without the magnificent frothy creations that define my entire persona!
Speaking of tutus, did I mention I have this stunning new one I'm simply dying to unveil in Huyton? It’s made from this luscious fabric that reminds me of a bubblegum sunset – you know, the kind where the sky goes all peachy and lavender, and the sun dips below the horizon in a swirl of fiery pinks and oranges. Well, my dear blog readers, imagine that in tutu form, and you've got this magnificent new creation! It practically sings with fabulousness. I cannot wait to twirl and sparkle in it on the Huyton stage.
Speaking of the stage, Huyton’s actually been on my performance wish-list for a while. They’re renowned for their incredible theater performances, and rumour has it there's a wonderful little local theatre where the crowd just go bonkers for a bit of Pink Tutu Sparkles. So, needless to say, my excitement levels are positively stratospheric!
Oh, and did I mention that Huyton boasts a lovely ballet class? Yes, darling! I'll be incorporating a bit of ballet-inspired fun into my routine, adding a dash of elegance and finesse. You see, my love for ballet started right back when I was just a wee lad – you could say, in fact, it started it all! Remember how I became a tutu fanatic, the pink tutu Sparkles, in the first place?

I went from science lab to dressing room with the speed of a hummingbird in a sugar rush, and boom Pink Tutu Sparkles was born!
But even as my drag alter-ego took centre stage, ballet was always a huge part of my life, a world of elegant steps and fluid grace that continues to fascinate me. The delicate elegance of a dancer's leap, the way they pirouette with such poise, it's all pure magic. Of course, I just had to add ballet-inspired routines into my drag performances, so it was just meant to be that Huyton's ballet class came calling. Imagine! Learning a few graceful steps, maybe a few pirouettes here, a grand jeté there... Oh, the possibilities!
Now, to make this adventure truly complete, there’s only one mode of transportation to fit my fashion queen needs: the glorious train. It's all about a vintage carriage, plush velvet seats, and the satisfying clatter of wheels on tracks. You can't get a more romantic, more elegant mode of transport! I'll be sipping on a delightful pink fizz, humming my favourite tune, and of course, letting those sparkling earrings bounce gently with every sway of the train. And wouldn’t you know it, I discovered that Huyton's railway station is a proper picture-perfect affair, with those traditional red brick buildings and stained glass windows. Honestly, this trip is starting to feel like a fairy tale.
