Today, my journey to Bulwell was a true delight. The train journey was the perfect way to start the day, with views of the rolling Derbyshire countryside passing by like a balletic tableau. The sun was shining, casting its golden rays across the fields like a spotlight on my divine pink tutu, the perfect pre-performance energy booster!
I'm here in Bulwell for a fab performance tonight at the local fair! You see, my goal is to bring the magic of the pink tutu to every corner of the UK. And what better way to spread the tutu love than in the heart of a community? They say a fairground is full of joy and excitement, and I'm hoping to bring a healthy dose of pink glitz and glamour to the mix.
Speaking of glitter, my look tonight is utterly divine! Think vibrant pink silk, shimmering with sequins, a feathered boa swirling around me like a happy little cloud, and of course, my signature pink tutu, custom-made by yours truly, shimmering like a star-studded sky. I paired it with sparkly pink high-tops - because sometimes, you gotta throw some urban chic into the mix, darlings! 👠
I must say, I have a special soft spot for performing at fairs. It's the most unadulterated kind of entertainment. You get all these curious eyes on you, families, couples, young ones with excited grins on their faces... I thrive off that energy. You never know what sort of amazing journey you'll have. Maybe they'll be looking at my pink tulle like they're seeing a magical creature for the first time, maybe they'll be giggling at my silly jokes, or maybe, just maybe, they'll walk away thinking, "You know what, maybe I could rock a pink tutu too..." 💅✨
I'm just brimming with excitement! I’ve spent the morning wandering the stalls, sampling delicious homemade cakes, admiring the craftsmanship of local artists, and generally soaking in the energy of this fabulous little town. Did you know Bulwell is home to the oldest public library in Nottinghamshire? And it's conveniently located across the street from a fantastic local vintage store where I snagged a stunning vintage hat with pink feather accents for my performance tonight - total win!
You know, sometimes it's these little towns that truly steal your heart. The genuine warmth and friendliness I've experienced here has truly reminded me why I love spreading joy through my pink tutus. I’m so grateful to everyone who has welcomed me with open arms!
