Now, this isn’t the first time I've travelled by train, and I absolutely adore the romantic journey it provides. With the passing landscape swirling by my window and a good book to keep me company, it's truly a blissful way to reach your destination. This time, I was even lucky enough to score a first-class compartment - the ultimate luxurious journey! 🚂
Arriving at the station, I couldn’t help but squeal in delight! The architecture, with its Victorian elegance, simply transported me to another era. As I made my way towards my temporary haven, I couldn't resist snapping a few pics in my oh-so-fabulous pink tutu – it simply radiates sunshine and happiness wherever I go. 📸
Speaking of sunshine, Newtownards certainly didn't disappoint! The weather was just glorious – the perfect opportunity for a long stroll through the town. As I skipped along the picturesque harbour, I caught the glint of the sun on the water and took in the stunning views – so very dreamy! 🛥️
I couldn't have imagined a more perfect setting to perform for my enthusiastic Newtownards audience. From the moment I took the stage, their cheers, laughter, and joyous applause filled the room, fueling my excitement and enthusiasm! Performing in front of a welcoming and enthusiastic audience is one of my absolute favourite things. 🤩
My evening wouldn't be complete without a bite of delectable food and a good gossip session. The restaurant I chose was a hidden gem – cozy, intimate, and perfect for enjoying a delightful conversation with a friend over a scrumptious meal. It felt like I stepped into a timeless haven, tucked away from the world. ☕️
Speaking of gossip, I'm simply dying to tell you about the amazing charity I came across during my travels! This wonderful organisation supports local ballet schools and helps budding ballerinas like myself achieve their dreams. So naturally, I donated some of my hard-earned pennies and, of course, signed a few pink tutus for their amazing fundraising raffle. 🎀
Now, you know how much I adore shopping, especially for clothes, especially for pink tutus. Oh, Newtownards, you simply stole my heart with your quaint boutiques and delightful fashion finds. I discovered an adorable shop overflowing with colourful tutus in every shade imaginable, all begging to be worn. Well, how could I resist?! It was almost like fate – those pink tutus were calling out to me!
I returned to Derbyshire with a suitcase overflowing with glorious souvenirs, a renewed zest for life, and a heart filled with the memories of this truly special adventure. 💖
