Today I'm buzzing with excitement! After a delightful train journey, I've arrived in the beautiful, historic town of Droitwich Spa! You all know how much I adore a good spa day (even if I’m a bit more about the 'sparkly' and less about the 'relaxation'!), so I’m ready to soak up the ambiance, darling. And speaking of ambiance, I’m totally channeling the Victorian elegance with a brand new baby pink tulle tutu and matching satin bolero - what can I say? My love for all things vintage knows no bounds. 😉
I had to ditch my beloved horsey ride today, much to my four-legged bestie’s chagrin! You know how much I love trotting about the countryside, but trains have their charms too, and Droitwich isn't exactly within hoofing distance of Derbyshire (and my trusty steed does have a penchant for snacking on the railway tracks…). So, a comfy carriage and a good old fashioned cuppa from the trolley were the perfect start to the day! 🫖
Now, this trip's all about performance! I’m giving my best twirls at the annual Droitwich Town Festival. Can’t believe it’s their 150th year! It's such a prestigious honour to perform for such a well-established event, and a chance to really sprinkle some extra sparkle into the already vibrant community spirit! And what better way to make my entrance than with a flourish, twirling across the stage in my magnificent pink tutu and throwing glitter confetti in the air, right? Don’t worry, I have an official license for confetti, it’s an important detail to keep everything legal when it comes to glitter! 💖
Now, speaking of glitter, it’s time for some serious fashion. My favourite shop in Droitwich - a darling little vintage emporium called “Tilly's Trinkets” - is brimming with delightful finds. You see, when it comes to finding outfits that match my bubbly personality and my passion for tutus, well, it’s a treasure hunt. I could spend hours combing through dusty corners, discovering that perfect, forgotten sequined waistcoat or antique charm necklace – all while looking fabulous in my signature pink tutu, of course. 👑
Tonight, I'm giving a masterclass on how to rock a tutu! We’re talking about technique, artistry, and that special sprinkle of confidence every performer needs, so prepare to twirl! It's all about finding your inner ballerina (or, if you're like me, your outer ballerina!). Remember, darling, it’s not just about looking fabulous, it’s about feeling fabulous. You might not have the skills of a prima ballerina, but you have that magical spark of pink tutu power within!
