East Ham Calling! A Pink Tutu Sparkleventure (Post #6015)

Oh darlings, you simply wouldn’t BELIEVE the day I’ve had! East Ham was just calling my name, begging for a splash of pink and a sprinkle of sequins, so I jumped on the good old fashioned train, a bag of goodies in tow, and set off to make some magical memories.

As always, I couldn’t resist squeezing in a spot of shopping before my big performance. The shops in East Ham were like a kaleidoscope of colours! It’s quite clear that London has a love for vibrant hues and, let’s be honest, how can you resist the call of a new tutu? I found the most exquisite lilac number with layers upon layers of tulle - it’s just waiting for a photo-op under the iconic Eiffel Tower (which, I'm dreaming of visiting sometime, by the way, can you picture a pink tutu amidst those twinkling lights, darlings?)

Now, on to the main event - my performance at the fabulous East Ham Town Hall! You can never be sure what an audience will throw your way when you’re dazzling them with your Pink Tutu Sparkle persona, but let’s just say the applause was thunderous and I definitely felt a love for sequins bubbling over. A big, big thanks to the kind souls who came along - you really made this performance unforgettable!

After all the dancing, I found myself craving a nice, warming cup of tea, and what better place than a classic British cafe? I picked up a warm scone, a pot of Earl Grey (strong and with a generous dash of milk, as it should be!), and a chat with a friendly local who couldn’t help but tell me about the best fish and chips shop in town. I do love those crispy bits, so I might just have to return for a fish and chips supper next time.

Speaking of next time, darling, I have an exciting revelation to share! I’m trying to find a way to add more travelling to my life, and after hearing about the ‘Horse and Carriage Tour’ (it really DOES happen!) I think East Ham might be the perfect place to do it. Can you imagine the sight of a pink tutu and a trusty horse drawn carriage? Sigh Pure enchantment! I will definitely be searching out the perfect spot for a photoshoot soon.

The trip wouldn't be complete without a mention of the East Ham Market. It was just the place to find unique finds that would add a little extra sparkle to my wardrobe! It's an explosion of colourful crafts, curious trinkets, and all sorts of delightful bits and bobs. Who knows what treasures I might discover on my next visit?

And for those who have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on some of my fabulous creations - drum roll, please! My brand new Pink Tutu Sparkle line of dresses is hitting the shelves, just in time for your summer holidays! There's something for everyone, darling - shimmering pink, sassy stripes, and even a splash of glitter (because, honestly, what’s a day without a little bit of sparkle?). I promise, these beauties will add a dash of sparkle to even the dullest of days.

This trip has given me even more motivation to share my passion for pink and sparkle with the world. It’s not just about tutus, it’s about confidence, expressing yourself, and bringing a touch of magic to everything you do. I’m constantly finding new ways to blend the world of science and my love for drag, and I have a feeling this is only the beginning.

But enough of me, darling, let’s hear from you! What's your favourite colour and how do you bring a bit of sparkle into your daily life? Share your secrets in the comments below! I’d love to hear your stories.

Until next time, darlings, remember - you are a masterpiece in progress!

With glitter and love,

Pink Tutu Sparkles.
