Now, you know how much I love exploring new places, and this little trip to Rugby was a real dream come true. First off, the journey itself was divine! I opted for a scenic train ride, soaking up the countryside views through the carriage window - all while feeling absolutely glamorous in my signature pink tulle. It’s amazing how much fun a train journey can be when you’re rocking a statement tutu and a killer smile, wouldn't you say? 😉
Reaching Rugby, I immediately fell in love with its historic vibe. Quaint cobblestone streets, traditional pubs with warm fireplaces, and enough charming shops to keep even the most devoted shopaholic (like myself!) happy for days. And the people? Well, let's just say that everyone was as warm and friendly as the Rugby weather!
Speaking of the weather, we had sunshine and blue skies all weekend. Absolutely perfect for rocking a fabulous tutu, darling! My outfit for this trip? A stunning hot pink tulle masterpiece, paired with a glittering sequined top, all finished with a pair of sparkly pink ballet pumps! Just me being me, ready to take on this lovely little town in style! 🤩
Now, this adventure was full of fun surprises! The highlight had to be a chance to visit the iconic Rugby School, the very place where rugby was invented! You bet I put on a mini show for the kids on the grounds, they loved it! Who knew that a little bit of pink tulle could make history come alive? 💖
We all know I can't resist a bit of culture on my travels. Luckily, Rugby delivered! I caught a wonderful ballet performance at the local theatre – the dancers were divine, absolutely graceful! (You've probably heard me rave about my love of ballet - I'm such a big fan!)
Of course, no trip of mine would be complete without indulging in a spot of retail therapy. And Rugby didn’t disappoint! There was this adorable little boutique on a side street, bursting with vintage clothes, funky jewellery, and enough colour to make even my heart skip a beat. It's so rewarding finding unique pieces that help express my inner queen, you know what I mean? 💖
