This week, I'm leaving the lab behind, swapping my trusty test tubes for shimmering sequins, and taking my passion for all things pink and fabulous on the road, fueled by a double espresso and a hearty Derbyshire oatcake, of course! (Yes, I'm from Derbyshire - a hidden gem in the heart of England!)
You see, my journey started long ago, back in the hallowed halls of university, while studying my science degree. Little did I know then, the moment I slipped on that pink tutu for a university charity event, my life would be transformed forever! From that moment, a passion for sparkle and a love of tutus erupted! I found my purpose – to spread the joy of the pink tutu to the world!
Now, I’m a scientist by day, a glittery force of nature by night, spreading smiles and sparkling sequins wherever I go! Every gig, every fair, every venue - a platform to ignite the joy of pink tutu magic! The train is my chariot, and the theatre is my kingdom!
Today, I'm swapping the train for a beautiful steed, a sleek black stallion named Comet. He is carrying me and my tutu-licious wardrobe all the way to the wonderful town of Fareham! A good old fashioned carriage ride, how glamorous! I’ll have to show you pictures!
Fareham, be warned – I'm coming in hot! Expect a delightful evening filled with fabulous music, glitter-tastic performances, and the most mesmerizing display of pink tutus you've ever seen! And if you’re lucky, I might even let you try one on!
From the streets of London to the stages of the Edinburgh Fringe, I've charmed crowds with my infectious energy and captivating performances. My repertoire is a delightful mix of pop tunes, ballet classics (I just adore a good ballet class and even the theatre when I can) and, of course, my signature song “Pink Tutu Rhapsody,” a tune that will have you humming it for days!
I always try to weave in a little something from each town I visit - a nod to local culture, a dash of local flavor. Today, I’m paying homage to the Isle of Wight! So get ready, Fareham! Expect a sea of pink tutus and the kind of entertainment that will leave you gasping for more!
