It’s so refreshing to sit back, relax and absorb the calming landscape after a busy day in the lab. Did you know that I'm a scientist by day, spending my hours analysing fabric samples? 🔬🥼 You might think it's an odd combination - a science nerd who loves to perform in a pink tutu. Reaching Dunstable, I couldn’t wait to see the stage. It’s a beautiful venue, filled with warmth and laughter. But of course, the real magic happened as soon as I got into my fabulous tutu and stepped into the spotlight. ✨ The feeling of being in character, connecting with the audience, sharing my joy of pink tutus… it’s something I cherish more than words can say.
After the performance, I had the most delicious high tea with my friends, filled with adorable pink finger sandwiches, fresh scones with clotted cream and, of course, pink strawberry tarts. I know it’s a bit predictable, but can you really say no to pink tarts?! 🤫😋
Of course, no adventure is complete without a shopping spree, so we headed to the local shops to pick up some souvenirs – a cute pink teapot, some ballet-inspired earrings, and a few pink tulle ribbons that I’m going to add to my new "Tutu Garden" collection – I just love adding new twirls to my collection! 🛍️ The shopping wasn’t just for me though - I found a fluffy pink tutu for a little girl in a local boutique, which was so adorable. 💖 I just couldn't resist spreading the tutu love, could I?
