It’s me, your favourite pink tutu-wearing queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles! 💖
Well darlings, pack your pinkest tutus, grab your favourite tiaras, and prepare to sparkle, because this fabulous fashionista is off on a fabulous adventure, to the lovely, lovely town of Earley!
It’s been a while since I’ve been on a good old-fashioned train journey. Something about the rhythmic clatter of the tracks, the hushed excitement of the passengers, the glimpse of the countryside speeding by - it’s pure magic. It's almost as magical as a pirouette on stage! And today, I'm travelling by the good old British rail to the place where dreams of pink tutus dance – Earley!
You might think, “Earley, Pink Tutu? What’s the connection?”. Well darlings, the connection is simple - Earley is brimming with beautiful and exciting places to perform! 💃🏻
And as every tutu enthusiast knows, you gotta wear a fabulous outfit for every performance. Speaking of outfits, this time around, I decided to go with something a bit bold!
My new pink tulle tutu is a delight! It’s a dream in pastel pink with layers of soft, swirling tulle and sparkles! I know what you're thinking: more sparkle?! Yes! You can never have enough sparkles, my lovelies! Especially when your aim is to make the entire world glitter in pink.
This time, my fabulous tutu was paired with a silver sequined crop top that shimmered with every movement. My signature hot pink heels completed the look – a match made in fashion heaven!
I mean, seriously, if I can make an entrance in a sparkly, swirling pink tutu, what can't I do?!
Of course, no trip is complete without a bit of shopping! I stopped at the local markets and found the most stunning pink sparkly hair bows to match my outfit. And then, just when I thought the outfit couldn’t be any more perfect, I spotted the cutest pair of sparkly pink platform flip-flops! They were absolutely divine! And they had little pink hearts on them. Perfect! 😍
Now, let's talk about the shows!
My first performance was at the Earley Festival. The stage was all decked out in flowers, and there were twinkling fairy lights strung across the stalls. I even spotted a hot pink unicorn stall, you won't believe how cute the pink and purple sweets were, a perfect treat to match my pink sparkly tutu. 🦄🍭
The audience was brilliant - children with excited eyes, and a few grannies who I saw mouthing "well done dear!". I love the fact that drag brings together all kinds of people! My set was a mix of modern pop and old-school classics. You know me, a Pink Tutu Sparkles performance is all about spreading happiness, love, and a bit of sassy magic. The kids loved my glittery dance routines and, oh, did they love that my pink tulle tutu spun like a giant bubble.
Next up was the local dance academy - the stage was so large and had a gorgeous velvet curtain and gold stage lights, I felt like I'd stepped into a dream. It was a total blast to perform in such a stunning setting and of course I used the opportunity to promote my passion for ballet.
It was absolutely fabulous to show these aspiring young dancers what's possible! I shared a few tips with them - from finding the perfect pink tutu to nailing your stage presence. (Of course, I never forgot to mention the power of sparkles!)

The finale of my Earley trip was performing for the local theatre. Oh, darling, they had the most stunning crystal chandelier. I swear, it must have been adorned with a thousand crystals. As the performance started and those glittering crystals shone in the light, it made me feel like I was starring in a pink tutu fairytale.
And what did I perform? You guessed it - the perfect pink tulle tutu song! My audience loved it, of course!
I feel so blessed to have travelled to this beautiful place and brought a little pink tutu sparkle to their lives. Earley has such a sweet, kind atmosphere – a lovely mix of bustling activity and calm countryside charm, which made my visit a wonderful blend of stage performances and time for a bit of creative reflection. It was the perfect place to unwind after my busy time on the stage!
Earley, you really are a pink tutu haven!
