Waterlooville: Pink Tutu Sparkle's Post #6293!

Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu wearing, travel-loving queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, back with another fabulous post! You know the drill, every day I bring you glittery gossip, fun stories, and hopefully a whole lotta pink tutu inspiration! Today's post is extra special, because, as you all know, I live for a good adventure! This week I travelled to the enchanting Waterlooville. A real hidden gem, let me tell you.

You might remember I was talking last week about taking the plunge and travelling by horse for the first time. I thought maybe I'd do it for a couple of days. I mean, wouldn't that make a fab post for you lovely lot! Sadly, that all fell through. Not the horse part, the plunge part, you see, dear readers, the horses got sick. 🐴💔

That doesn't mean I didn't have a fabulous time! I still made my way to Waterlooville via a glorious train journey, feeling like a total royal on the first class carriage! You know how much I adore trains! Not to mention, you simply can't beat the window view of the English countryside – a true tonic for the soul! 🥰

But, enough about me! Let's get to the heart of the matter. What about this incredible Waterlooville? Well, it's got it all, my dears!

First off, Waterlooville is a vibrant town. A haven for all things theatre! My heart skipped a beat when I stumbled upon their amazing theatre space. I just had to pop inside. I even caught a sneak peek at a local production of “Annie”! So exciting, the cast were incredible, their voices truly blessed! And did you know their costumes were all donated! What a good idea! It’s all about sustainability, darling. Let's keep spreading that pink love, my dears!

Next, let’s chat about food! Now, I'm a bit of a foodie. And Waterlooville absolutely did not disappoint. I mean, imagine a classic, quintessentially British fish and chips, all washed down with a cheeky glass of something sparkling! That’s precisely what I treated myself to! It's pure bliss! Not to mention, Waterlooville has some incredible cake shops! Don’t judge me, darlings! You can never have too many sugary treats! 🎂🍭 The icing on the cake, they all embraced me wearing my sparkly pink tutu!

Oh, darling, don’t even get me started on shopping in Waterlooville! I literally shopped 'til I dropped. Did I tell you that? I must have hit up every vintage clothing store, charity shop, and even stumbled into a sweet little boutique that made me feel like I’d been transported to a fairytale world. I had a dream! You’ll have to wait for the next blog for the exciting details about the divine vintage fuchsia dress I got…just you wait! 🤫

However, Waterlooville is more than just food, fashion and fun (though honestly, that's a winning combination!) I stumbled across the Waterlooville Park - truly breathtaking. It was an idyllic spot to unwind! Think stunning landscapes, a majestic lake and...wait for it...a majestic swan named George! Don’t worry darlings, I didn’t talk to it like I used to chat to the guinea pigs I kept back in Derbyshire! It was more of a friendly "hello" but I swear it winked at me! What a lovely fellow. I may even write him a fan letter! Maybe one day, I will be on a pink tutu float with the royal swans! 🥰

As much as I enjoyed the town and everything it had to offer, let me tell you, the people of Waterlooville were what truly made the trip unforgettable! Everyone I met was so kind and welcoming, it was incredible!

Honestly, you all need to know, my heart skipped a beat when I was greeted by a group of teens all wearing tutus as I arrived at the train station. Imagine it, darling: it was the ultimate rainbow, sparkle-filled fashion show! One even wore a pink fluffy one. OMG! That was just perfect! I had to gush at them a bit and even posed for a quick pic. Maybe they were just fans of Pink Tutu Sparkles but I prefer to think I’ve made a good start on my dream to spread the pink tutu love. I mean, imagine: one pink tutu at a time until the world’s in pink! 🩰

They’re getting their chance again to join the tutu brigade soon! You all know the drill: I’ll be holding a big workshop at the Waterlooville Library. All welcome!

After that, it’s onto bigger things, dear darlings! Did I mention that I’m performing on a pink float at a local fair? OMG! That’s gonna be divine! You know, there’s just something about being on a float. The people waving, the smiling faces, it's pure joy!

So there you have it, my darlings. My trip to Waterlooville: a fantastic adventure, a great place, incredible food, fantastic fashion and people... what more could a girl ask for? I may just stay a while, and, let’s face it, Waterlooville will never know what hit it once I've launched the local pink tutu ballet academy! I'm gonna do my part to turn it into the pink tutu capital of the world. And, who knows? Perhaps they’ll even give the royal swans some pink tutus for their next parade. Don’t worry, darlings, it will be fabulous, so fabulous!

Remember, keep it sparkly, and never forget to rock that pink tutu with pride. Remember my dear darlings, Pink Tutu Sparkles doesn’t like a dull world so why don’t you pop over to the website: www.pink-tutu.com and add a bit of colour! And do follow me on social media @PinkTutuSparkles!

Until next time, my lovelies, stay sparkling!

Love and sparkle,

PS

I can't wait to show you photos of the latest tutu I got and what I wore at the Waterlooville fair. Maybe I'll even sneak a pic of my new hairdo! Oh! And stay tuned to my website, I'm posting details about the Tutu Workshops, as well as more travel inspiration from this enchanting place called Waterlooville! 🥰
