Cleethorpes! Pink Tutu Sparkles in Cleethorpes! Post #6366!

Hello darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, ready to share another day of sparkling joy and pinkness with you! As I sit here in my favourite pink dressing gown, sipping on my tea, it seems almost unbelievable that I'm already writing my blog about today’s amazing performance at Cleethorpes! What a whirlwind! Cleethorpes, a seaside town famous for its amusements and fish and chips, is also becoming famous for its Pink Tutu Sparkles visits, and today, my dears, was simply FABULOUS!

First, let’s rewind back to yesterday, shall we? I love taking the train, so yesterday afternoon, I boarded the train in Nottingham station, feeling quite chic and glamorous in my little pink hat. (Pink hat alert!) Don't you just love the rhythm of the train track? That lovely soothing clackity clack - it always sets me thinking, especially when I'm heading for a performance! The train was packed, you can imagine - all the tourists flocking to the coast! It was full of lovely ladies and gents, and let's be honest, everyone loves a bit of Pink Tutu Sparkles! I spotted at least two pairs of sparkling diamante shoes, and several bright pink jackets – the perfect outfits to complete your own Pink Tutu Sparkles look, darling. I always say: a bit of sparkle never hurt anyone!

And it certainly didn't hurt today's performance. Cleethorpes, I adore you! The crowds were huge - overflowing with smiles, pink smiles, if I'm being completely honest. And oh my god, that sea air. I know, it sounds ridiculous, but Cleethorpes is so breezy! So much wind, darling! But nothing a glamorous hairspray and a few extra bobby pins couldn’t solve. Let’s just say my crown remained firm, and Pink Tutu Sparkles strutted her stuff right through my set.

Speaking of my set, it was completely electric. My favourite ballet pieces, some glitter, some glamour, and just a dash of sequins – what’s a girl to do, right? The crowd loved my "pink flamingo" number. That is always a fan favourite. Those feathered legs and a sprinkle of glitter – who wouldn’t be enchanted by a pink flamingo? We had a bit of "Pink Swan Lake", some beautiful classical tunes, a bit of high kicks - I know I do go for some seriously impressive high kicks in my little pink tutu. (A shout out to my new glitter-embellished pumps, darlings, you're simply divine!). I think my "Pink Tutu Boogie" was the showstopper! The crowds were up dancing, my dears. I was right in the middle of it all. That is why I love performing – the connection with the audience.

But before my fabulous performance at the local theatre in Cleethorpes, I was absolutely famished. And Cleethorpes knows how to feed a pink queen. I had the most magnificent fish and chips - with extra chips, a double portion, darling, I'm on tour, after all, I’m working up an appetite! And I had a delicious strawberry and cream milkshake – just perfect. That’s the thing about travel, don't you agree, darling? It's always a wonderful mix of amazing food, beautiful surroundings, fabulous people, and, most importantly, the chance to share your love of pink tutus!

So, I spent the evening exploring this beautiful coastal town. There’s something about those classic British seaside towns – the smell of salty air, the laughter of children on the beach, the sound of the arcade games, the feel of the sandy dunes. So I treated myself to some candyfloss at the pier, enjoyed the thrilling (and dare I say it, somewhat pink) lights of the ferris wheel, and took some spectacular pictures for my Pink Tutu Sparkles gallery, naturally!

I found a charming local boutique tucked away in a little alleyway in Cleethorpes. What did I buy? Oh, a gorgeous pink sequin dress, darling! It will be perfect for a photo shoot in Hyde Park tomorrow, I am thinking. Who knows what kind of pink adventures await us. We are only just beginning!

Before signing off for the evening, I'd like to remind you to make sure you follow my Pink Tutu Sparkles journey. Remember you can get to this blog at www.pink-tutu.com – it's my favourite place to share all of my stories, my pictures, my fabulous fashion, my tips for all the lovely ladies and gentlemen who want to spread a bit of pink joy and pink glitter wherever they go. You'll find the most stylish pink tutus in my shop – and they do make the most delightful Christmas presents.

Darling, don't forget! I have been working with a fab charity in Derbyshire to donate new tutus for ballet dancers who are finding it difficult to afford their love of dance, and I am delighted to tell you that I am very close to my goal of donating 500 pink tutus to ballet schools in the county! So, if you feel so inclined, please pop over to my donation page to see if you can add to my pink pile of tulle magic! Every bit really helps – and remember, every pink tutu shared is one less black sheep, darling!

Right, I am going to relax now. Pink Tutu Sparkles is signing off and wishing you a sparkly pink goodnight. Sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite (although a bite of a pink chocolate cake could be pretty delightful)!

Until tomorrow, darlings,

Pink Tutu Sparkles xoxo

PS, don’t forget to wear a pink tutu!
