Today, we're off on another glamorous adventure, this time to the lovely town of Darwen in Lancashire. Remember this, babes - every day is a chance to sparkle, and a pink tutu always helps!

We've been to some truly amazing places. Today is all about bringing you a taste of that lovely northern charm Darwen has.
Riding in Style, Darlings!
As a bit of a train-a-holic (yes, that's a thing, don't @ me! 😅), I made the most of the scenic journey north. The journey is always a bit of a treat – something about trains and my pink tutu really tickles my fancy. It just feels super elegant. And you can't beat that window view when you're dressed to the nines. Speaking of which, today's tutu ensemble is absolutely dreamy. I'm wearing my 'Enchanted Cherry Blossom' tutu, all fluffy pink with sparkles. I found it at the best boutique in Manchester (more on that later!). It's got a whole matching cape – for when you want to truly make an entrance, obviously!
Darwen - a charming find!
Oh my god, this place is cute. Cobbled streets, quaint little shops, and everyone's so friendly! Honestly, everyone I meet wants to talk about my pink tutu. You just can't help but smile back. The vibes are so welcoming here!
We're here in Darwen to do something really special, you guys! There's this little community theatre, and I'm performing tonight in their ‘Stars of Darwen’ event. It's an evening dedicated to local talent and creativity, and guess who's gonna add some pink tutu magic? You already know! 🤩 I'm performing a few of my best dance routines - imagine me pirouette-ing across the stage in my pink tutu. I'm channeling all my ballet training, my childhood dreams, and the magic of this place. Oh, and my setlist is totally fierce – think 80s classics with a dash of glam, all powered by pink tutus!
A little pink tutu magic in the shops
Now, you know how much I love finding those hidden gems – quirky little shops with fabulous treasures, especially if they're pink! We found a lovely independent store called "The Crafty Corner", full of the most amazing fabric and sewing supplies. I was tempted by some pink lace to maybe customise my newest tutu - that was some seriously glitzy and fabulous material, you guys! I need to start a dedicated “tutu-designing” corner in my flat. And I picked up a little book about Ballet Street dancing - something I'm seriously into right now - the energy is fantastic and so inspiring! You guys need to try it!
Afternoon Tea, Darwen style!
Every good adventure has to have a little afternoon tea. Right? The afternoon was gloriously sunny so we took our tea on the terrace at the "Red Rose Tearoom", overlooking the town square. Oh my, this place is truly magical - they even had pink roses all around! I just adore tea! I've got my "pink-tutu-tea" collection which consists of only pink cups, plates, teacups - you name it. (Sometimes I do feel like I need a life, darling, but honestly - does it get more iconic? 🤔 ) I paired my "Royal Bubblegum" teapot with the afternoon tea – can’t get more girly, can we? I swear, it all adds to my pink tutu vibe! The cakes were divine, by the way - especially the "Pink Velvet Cupcake." They definitely did their research to understand what this Pink Tutu Sparkles would want! 😉
Dancing Under the Stars, Darwen Style!
Tonight was epic, darling! Our theatre show went off with a bang! The crowd were absolutely phenomenal, so supportive and encouraging! And all because they get it! I mean, who can't love a little pink tutu magic? Honestly, I even had a few folks rocking pink tutus in the audience - truly, it was an amazing moment! That's how I want the world to be, ya'll – all decked out in our finest pink tutus. The magic and kindness spread like wildfire and, honestly, that's the biggest magic of all, babes. 💖

Right, babes! That was a whirlwind of a day, and Darwen has a new fan. Honestly, what a great town! Full of warmth, vibrancy, and pink-tutu-loving folks. It reminds me, I have to go look for some vintage, pink tulle in those charity shops down by the docks - I'm going to be making a new 'Darwen Dreamer' pink tutu as a little memento of our time here. I'll show you all, promise. Now, it's time to rest those dancing feet (and pink tutus!). But let's be real – a queen never sleeps – just keeps dreaming of our next big adventure.
