Hello lovelies, it's your Pink Tutu Sparkles here, and boy oh boy, are we in for a treat today! This post is a little extra special because it’s from the gorgeous, glamorous town of Stevenage, a real hidden gem in the English countryside! 😍
I travelled here by train, naturally, the sound of the rails is like music to my ears - and it gave me a chance to put on my brand new polka dot tights. Did I tell you? My darling fashion designer is creating the most incredible collection of tutus for my new Spring tour and each tutu has a bespoke matching pair of tights! whispers… maybe I'll let you see a peek of one or two later in the post, but you’ll have to be on the look out.
But enough about me! Let's get back to this divine town of Stevenage. You know, it's such a lovely change from my normal routine in Derbyshire. Sometimes you just need a bit of a change, don't you?
So what did I get up to in this vibrant town?
Breakfast of Champions with a view
Firstly, breakfast! It's so important, right? I am all about staying energized and keeping those good vibes going all day. I went to the most adorable cafe, surrounded by trees and open air, right on the edge of a little park. They even had an outdoor ballet barre set up. I might have borrowed it for a quick warm-up before enjoying my coffee, you know, gotta stay limber! I had the best croissant and some juicy berries. But it was the atmosphere that really took the cake! Oh, and did I mention my cute little pink polka-dot handbag? Totally coordinated, of course!
Ballerina Bootcamp: Class time
Next, I found the cutest little ballet school in a quiet street. Just a little quaint cottage but inside it had the biggest studio space I've ever seen! Imagine my delight when they told me their motto was "Let your tutu be the limit, darling!" I nearly jumped with glee, let me tell you. So, I took a masterclass, learning some new moves for my show later in the evening. Those barre exercises can be a real challenge but so rewarding. It was like getting ready for my big night, getting into the mood for the big reveal. 💖✨
Vintage Treasures and Pink Perfumes
No trip to Stevenage would be complete without a visit to their fabulous vintage market. And honestly, darling, it was like a trip back in time, all sorts of wonderful trinkets, clothes, and more! I even picked up a stunning pink broach shaped like a butterfly. And if there's one thing I can't resist, it’s a good old-fashioned perfume shop. Oh, those heady scents! And lucky me, I discovered the most exquisite pink fragrance – Pink Sparkles, obviously. How perfect is that? I know, right! So I've spritzed myself a little and oh, darling, I'm practically a pink explosion, and loving every minute of it. 😉
A little "theatre magic"
Before the big reveal of my performance tonight, we all know I needed to see something fab. Stevenage has this delightful little theater - I’m not sure what I loved more, the ornate interior or the little plaque they had dedicated to pink tutus, the only plaque I saw like that all week, actually! A true fan! It made me realize that being Pink Tutu Sparkles isn't just a costume, darling, it’s a whole philosophy! 💕
And then, the curtain rose for the performance… I couldn't take my eyes off the dazzling set and those amazing dancers. It truly inspired me! This is why I love to travel – it lets me recharge, find inspiration and push myself to create something new and fantastic! And so the big moment came, cue the dramatic music….
Tutu-licious Evening Spectacular
My darling audience was ready, waiting to be enthralled, to be dazzled by my shimmering performance. They loved it! The cheers and laughter were pure bliss. After all, every night with a pink tutu is a good night. 💖
The Best Part of the Trip:
Honestly, darling, the absolute best part of this trip wasn't just about me, it was seeing everyone getting involved, embracing the Pink Tutu Sparkles spirit. The look on the faces of little children who saw me and even came over to get a high five…that's what makes all this worthwhile. If I can encourage people to have some fun, be bold, be unapologetically themselves – that's everything, darling, everything. 💕✨
