Now, don't get me wrong, I do love my glamorous carriage rides on my trusty steed, Buttercup (I mean, who doesn’t adore a majestic steed adorned in pink ribbons, right?), but sometimes, it's nice to relax and soak in the countryside views with a steaming cuppa and a good book. Plus, I always enjoy a spot of people-watching, you never know when you might encounter someone deserving of a pink tutu recommendation!
Carlisle, you see, is a charming city brimming with history. I always love exploring these hidden gems, and Carlisle's stunning castle definitely captured my heart! The architecture was simply breathtaking. I couldn't resist posing for a few pics in front of those magnificent walls - even a pink tutu can appreciate a little bit of historic grandeur, darling! I had visions of myself as a valiant, tutu-clad knight defending the castle from imaginary dragons! 🐲

Of course, no trip would be complete without some retail therapy, wouldn't you say? And darling, I am absolutely in love with the shops in Carlisle! I mean, let's be honest, I am a tutu connoisseur, and the vintage finds I unearthed at a charming little shop on Abbey Street are absolutely to die for. Now, you wouldn't expect this in a small town, but the shop even had some amazing sequin fabrics perfect for crafting new tutu designs – gasp! I am definitely returning soon!
While Carlisle might be far away from the big city hustle and bustle, its warmth and welcoming vibe just drew me in. The local pubs, charming cafes, and friendly locals really added to the charm. The staff at my charming little guesthouse even allowed me to leave my suitcase filled with sparkly outfits behind, promising a delightful delivery to my next destination! So, naturally, I gave them each a handmade pink tutu pin for their kindness, it's the least I could do!
The real highlight, though? It happened just as I was leaving. I caught sight of a young boy gazing at the grand castle. He looked a bit nervous, maybe hesitant about his adventure, a touch shy even. As I glided past, a sparkle in my eye and a playful smirk on my face, I whispered, "Don’t be afraid to let your imagination run wild!" Outfits Update: Carlisle Edition
It’s all about the layers this time, darlings! The “Royal Rose" outfit had me looking every bit the princess, featuring a gorgeous vintage pink dress adorned with cascading layers of tulle. To top it all off, a spectacularly elegant custom-made pink tutu with a breathtaking array of sparkly floral details that perfectly matched the vintage feel. My crown (another one-of-a-kind vintage piece, my love for antique jewels knows no bounds!) with cascading pink ribbon bows finished the look. As for the finishing touches, I can't resist some shimmering pink glitter on my cheekbones and, of course, a dazzling pink lipstick! Let's just say that I had a whole lot of fun twirling my way around Carlisle!
