Hello lovelies, it’s your favourite pink tutu-loving drag queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here! 👋 I’m back with another thrilling post, number 6548 to be exact! Today I’m whisking you away to the delightful and stylish Kensington, a real haven for tutu-loving ladies like myself! 😉
Now, as you know, Kensington is practically bursting at the seams with amazing boutiques and chic shops - and trust me, I wouldn’t be caught dead anywhere else! 👠👗 My pockets were burning to splash out on a new frock for this trip and let’s just say, it wasn’t too hard to find something in a glorious shade of pink! I picked out this fabulous floral midi-dress with an absolutely stunning pink and orange floral print, just my style! It even had the cutest little pink bow at the neckline! 💕
After a quick (and by quick I mean absolutely fabulous!) shopping spree, we headed to Kensington Gardens - a haven of serenity and loveliness, especially in autumn! 🍂 The vibrant reds and yellows of the leaves against the stunning backdrop of the Kensington Palace just had me reaching for my camera for some serious Insta-worthy shots! 🤳
And of course, a trip to Kensington wouldn’t be complete without some ballet. The Royal Ballet at the Royal Opera House is simply divine! It's no surprise that this iconic location, full of rich history and artistic grandeur, drew me right in! 🥰 The swirling elegance and beautiful movement had my tutu spinning right along! The passion and energy of the dancers had me transported right to the stage - I’m practically already working on my own little number! 🩰
As you know, I’m not afraid to let my inner sparkle out! ✨ After the performance, I headed for a little theatrical makeup masterclass! It's incredible how just a few dabs and strokes of colour can transform a face into something truly beautiful. It's like alchemy! 💄💅 And guess what, I managed to sneak a bit of pink eyeliner in there for a final touch! 💖
Now, Kensington has plenty of fantastic restaurants and tea rooms for you to refuel your sparkle after a long day of exploring, and a lovely spot for an afternoon bite, as I can vouch for! The pastries, cakes and scones were simply delicious, as you’d expect from such a chic area! And just imagine my delight when the lady at the cafe even gave me a complimentary little pink cupcake - now that’s what I call customer service! 🧁
By the way, have I told you about my travel plans? You know me, always searching for the next big adventure! 🌍 Right now I'm feeling absolutely mesmerized by the prospect of taking a train journey through the countryside! The rolling hills, quaint little villages and the open, scenic vistas – it’s truly a feast for the eyes, perfect for my fashion sense. Maybe I can even ride on the back of a magnificent, sleek horse-drawn carriage! It just feels like something out of a fairy tale. 💖
But back to Kensington! This whole day was just pure, magical inspiration for me, filling my head with ideas for my next dazzling drag performance. I think you know what that means! Get ready to see a pink tutu with a floral touch, full of swishing and twirling elegance!
