You know how I adore a good adventure, and this trip to Urmston ticked all the boxes! It all started with a whisper of a rumour about a spectacular vintage clothing shop, promising treasures galore! Now, you know how much I love a bargain and some truly unique pieces.
My trusty steed - my faithful little pink bicycle, “Priscilla” (who gets plenty of love on the www.pink-tutu.com website, of course!) - took me across the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. A slight detour for a delightful cup of tea with a bunch of lovely ladies at a country cafe was, of course, totally unavoidable! ☕
After that pitstop, I was raring to go. Urmston here I come! The town was absolutely bursting with character – cobblestone streets, independent shops, and just a delightful vibe. I knew this place was going to be fab! 💖
Now, let's talk about that vintage shop - oh my word! I swear it was like a portal into the most glamorous 1950s movie! 👠✨ There were floor-length gowns, beautiful feather boas, and the most exquisite handbags you can imagine! It was an absolute feast for the senses. And guess what? I snagged the most exquisite coral pink bolero with an enormous, beautiful diamante button – it’s going to look AMAZING over my latest pink tutu! 🥰
But wait! There’s more! Urmston, darling, you've completely won me over! There's a delightful little theatre there that’s just waiting for a Pink Tutu Sparkles extravaganza! I simply had to try it out, and I am just SO excited to reveal my next big show in their space. The locals are so wonderfully supportive of the arts - and everyone is so utterly charming. 🎭 💖
Before I packed up for the grand old trip back, there was just one thing I needed to do. The absolute BEST ice cream place I've EVER visited was hiding away in Urmston. I'm not even kidding! This shop has ice cream in every colour of the rainbow - with the most divine pink cotton candy ice cream! My tastebuds did a little dance, I can tell you that! 🍦🌈
That night, as I was catching the train back to my little flat, it was so quiet. It made me think about how truly magical this little journey has been, and how I want everyone to experience the joy of traveling, the magic of discovering hidden gems and how great a world we live in. This trip had just been utterly fantastic and Urmston has taken my breath away! 🤩
