Billingham Bound: Post 6649 🩰💖

Oh, hello lovelies! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, fresh off the train from Derbyshire and ready to sprinkle some magic on Billingham! ✨

It's a chilly morning, but I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Why? Because Billingham, you are my destination for today, and I've got a sparkly, twirly new tutu waiting to be debuted! It's all shimmery silver with a burst of shocking pink – perfect for a fun, family-friendly show, wouldn't you say?

Before we get into the Billingham shenanigans, let me tell you all about my journey! You see, I'm a big fan of the great British railway system – it's so efficient and utterly charming, don't you think? I boarded my train in Derbyshire, my trusty pink suitcase by my side filled with everything a queen needs – feather boas, sequins, and a backup pair of tights, of course!

Speaking of boas, I just had to share this story! As I was leaving the station, this sweet little girl, maybe five or six years old, pointed at my boa and gasped, "Is that a dinosaur? Can I touch it?" My heart melted! I said, "Of course, darling! But just be careful, it's very delicate." We had a lovely chat about feathers and sparkly things. It just goes to show, even the youngest among us have an eye for fabulousness. 🥰

Anyway, back to the train! I settled into my seat and did what any self-respecting queen would do – I popped on a podcast and indulged in a good dose of glamorous gossip. Let me tell you, the world of drag is buzzing right now – so much exciting news and so many amazing performers!

Then, all of a sudden, I saw a magnificent creature through the window – a beautiful, black horse galloping across a field. Just picture it – sunlight on his coat, his mane flowing in the breeze! Oh, it was simply stunning! Now, horses are a bit of a weakness for me. I adore their grace and their power – reminds me a bit of my drag persona, if I'm being honest! Maybe next time, I'll get my own little pink-hooved horse, think about that!

Right, but enough of my dreamy diversions! The time has come for the reason I'm in Billingham! Today's show is at [Insert venue name]. You can be sure the performance will be bursting with sparkle, glamour, and maybe even a little bit of sass – that's what Pink Tutu Sparkles does best, after all! ✨

The best part is that tonight's show is for everyone! My aim is to get the whole world wearing pink tutus – a girl can dream, right? Whether you're five years old or a hundred, young or old, it's all about spreading joy and spreading pink!

Oh! I can't forget to tell you about my outfit! This is going to be one fabulous performance look, my dears. We’re talking, of course, about a brand new sparkly silver tutu, the most extravagant feathered headpiece you've ever seen, and enough pink lipstick to paint a whole village! And wouldn’t you know it, I got all these delightful pieces at a wonderful boutique in [Insert name of nearby town]. That's another thing I love about being on the road, all the fantastic shops! And you wouldn’t believe the vintage bargains I’ve picked up at charity shops across the country!

But it’s not all sequins and sparkle, my darlings. By day, I’m Alex, a dedicated scientist working in a lab – yes, the irony isn’t lost on me! – testing fabrics to see if they meet safety regulations. I actually find it very grounding after a night of sequins and glitz! But that's me - I’m a bit of a paradox, aren’t I?

So, if you happen to be in Billingham tonight, do come along and join me for some fun, fabulous entertainment! You never know, you might even get a little bit of that Pink Tutu magic yourself! 💖

Until next time, my dears,

Pink Tutu Sparkles x
