Darling dearies! Get ready for a whirl of pink because today, Pink Tutu Sparkles is taking you to... Bicester! Well, almost, because that's where I'm off to next! But, you know me, can't just go to Bicester without an outfit change first!
Ahem, that reminds me, this is #6672 - you've probably seen the whole blog thing, but if not, Darling, welcome! For the uninitiated, I'm Pink Tutu Sparkles - I love all things pink and all things tulle! (Except when the tulle gets really snagged on the stage lighting!) If you're thinking about dressing up and looking fabulous, girl, I'm your woman! And especially if you fancy some sparkly tutus, this is totally your jam!
As you know, darling, I have to get to Bicester! It's all for a glamorous occasion! The Bicester Village Theatre are hosting their annual Spring Ballet Ball, and my Pink Tutu Sparkles alter-ego just has to grace that stage. It's my sworn duty to bring that gorgeous tulle into the spotlight! But, honestly, darling, it's not all about the dance moves! I just love the feel of that stage! So dreamy.
You know, dearie, before this life, I wasn't much of a dancer! I spent a lot of my time at Uni studying chemistry (boring!). I think my obsession with tutus began during a charity event - I completely fell in love with how that pink fluff made me feel! It was like stepping out of the lab and into a whimsical wonderland, and since then? Totally obsessed! Now, darling, it’s not just about dancing - it’s about the glitz, the glamour, the whole FABULOUS package!
Speaking of glamour, darling, Bicester's been calling! My friend in Derby, Daisy Diamond (an absolute legend, loves her fashion), told me there's a new boutique in town. The one and only "Glitterific". It's rumoured to be full of designer tutus. Can you even imagine? OMG! That means one thing, dearies - I *must investigate this before the big performance, just a little bit of pre-show prep, you see?*
Anyway, enough about tutus for now. Where was I? Oh yes! The journey. For this trip, I'm taking the train, obviously, what else would Pink Tutu Sparkles do? Now, you'll understand, I have a whole list of requirements when I'm going on a travel venture. The train has to be a charming classic. I can't do the underground for these trips. No no, dearie! Give me a quaint first class carriage! A carriage so big, you'd need your own tutu to walk across it (though, please don't, it's really bad for the seats!).
Then, darling, I get out my favourite travel magazine (it has all the latest on which fabulous railway lines I need to travel on). Plus, I need to pick out a little treat. A delicate sandwich, some fancy chocolates, maybe a pink cup of tea to keep me company! But the most important thing? Darling, I must bring a fabulous outfit for my destination! I always travel in style. I'll just have to figure out which pink and sparkly outfit to wear. So many choices!
