Hello darlings! It's your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles, and guess what? I'm in Upminster, Essex! Yes, you heard that right! I'm bringing a sprinkle of pink and a whole lotta twirl to the East End!

This is my sixth time in Essex this year, and honestly, the East End really is growing on me. It's full of surprises and some truly fantastic audiences for a queen like me! Today I'm feeling especially girly, so we're going all out - think sparkly pink eyeshadow, a flowing pink tutu, and heels so high, you'll think I'm about to launch into space.

Now, how did I get here? It wouldn't be a Pink Tutu Sparkles adventure without a dash of dramatic travel! This time, I hopped on a steam train at a station tucked away in the English countryside, all to feel the nostalgia and embrace the charm of a slower pace of life. You can bet there were a few curious eyes looking out the window at my pink, swishing tutu as the train rolled into Upminster station!

And speaking of twirls, it wouldn't be a proper Pink Tutu Sparkles blog post without a little something special. Today, we're heading to a fabulous community ballet studio. I heard whispers of an upcoming performance, and you just know I had to investigate! After all, a pink tutu deserves to grace the stage, wouldn't you agree? Maybe I can convince a few of these lovely dancers to join me in my mission to make the world a pinker place, one tutu at a time!

Later on, I'm hoping to pop into some charming local boutiques to add to my ever-growing wardrobe. After all, a queen can never have too many sequins or sparkly pink accessories! I have a sneaking suspicion Upminster is brimming with hidden gems, and I wouldn't miss a chance to find some sartorial treasures!

And speaking of sartorial wonders, did you know that I started wearing pink tutus while studying science? It sounds a little peculiar, doesn't it? Well, I was in the university's ballet club, and we were doing a charity event where I decided to give the whole pink tutu look a try. It was a moment of complete joy and a turning point for me! Honestly, you can't beat the feeling of twirling in a voluminous, sparkling pink tutu, whether it's at the lab or on a stage.

One of the things I love most about traveling is discovering those unexpected little towns. Upminster is a true hidden gem. It’s got that charming countryside feel with a touch of cosmopolitan flair, and a warm welcome that truly makes me feel at home.

Today, we're going to immerse ourselves in the history and charm of this lovely corner of Essex. We’re starting with a visit to St. Laurence's Church, the oldest church in the village. Honestly, I feel so inspired by the stained glass windows and the intricate architecture. It's easy to get lost in its serene atmosphere.

Of course, any trip to Essex wouldn’t be complete without a little dose of fresh air and green space. Luckily, Upminster has just the spot for a peaceful afternoon picnic - the Upminster Windmill and the picturesque Upminster Nature Reserve! Imagine a picnic with stunning views, pink tutu, and a beautiful pink picnic basket! That’s exactly how we’ll be rolling today.

I couldn’t resist adding a little sparkle to our trip and visited the charming Upminster Ballet Studio. The studios were buzzing with vibrant energy, the sweet sounds of ballerinas, and that magic feeling of artistic expression. I even got a sneak peek of their upcoming performance! These incredible young dancers were mesmerizing! I absolutely fell in love with their energy and dedication.

After a quick chat with some of the talented students, I was practically radiating inspiration! My biggest dream? Well, besides spreading the joy of tutus everywhere, is to see more young people embrace their own unique forms of self-expression through art, music, and of course, dancing. These aspiring ballet stars, they inspire me! It was so heartening to witness the pure passion and enthusiasm pouring out of them.

And wouldn't it be absolutely magical to see them twirl in vibrant, sparkling pink tutus? Imagine that vision! Now wouldn't that be a fantastic way to encourage self-expression and add a touch of pink magic to their stage? Think I need to chat with their teachers and see if we can orchestrate a Tutu Day, don’t you?

To round off a magical day in Upminster, it’s time for some sparkle, drama, and an evening of entertainment. I’ve got a performance planned, a truly sensational, pink-tastic spectacle of drag and dance, bringing a touch of high-octane glam to the stage!

It wouldn’t be an Upminster trip without embracing the local talent! There’s a charming pub with live music, so you can bet I'll be strutting my stuff, dazzling the audience with my trademark sass and a few carefully chosen tunes that will get them dancing!
