Bournemouth Sparkle: Pink Tutu Queen's #6733 - Let's Tutu-ally Go! πŸ©°πŸ’–

Oh darling, I simply have to share all the glorious goss from my trip to Bournemouth! I absolutely adore visiting this coastal gem, and this time was no exception. Pink Tutu Queen is ready to fill your feed with some sunshine and glitter, because Bournemouth just oozes charm and vibrancy, especially with me in my hot pink tutu, obviously! πŸ‘‘βœ¨

But before we get into the fun, let's chat about how I even got here. As you know, I'm a firm believer in sustainable travel, and with my recent obsession with the Railway Children, a charming train journey seemed like the perfect way to kick things off. Now, I can't possibly ever be caught dead on public transport without my full glam look, darling. Imagine me, in my best shimmering pink attire, with a carefully placed flower tucked in my tulle, seated across from a startled commuter - oh the giggles! πŸ˜„

This time around, the journey took me straight from the heart of Derbyshire, right to the buzzing streets of Bournemouth. As my fellow passengers tried to maintain their poker faces, I couldn't help but shimmy a bit and flash a dazzling smile. I'm just so naturally sparkly! Plus, you never know who's looking for the next fabulous addition to their Instagram feed, right? πŸ˜‰

And speaking of Instagram, let's be real, darling: what's a trip to Bournemouth without a stroll along the pier? This iconic landmark is the perfect backdrop for my fabulous, fun-loving photo shoots, you know? The combination of the sea breeze, my pink tutu, and the vibrant backdrop creates the most amazing pictures! I'm already picturing my latest photoshoot. Pink Tutu Sparkle standing right in the heart of the pier, with the sun glinting off the water. πŸŒŠπŸ‘‘

Now, after a glorious seafront promenade, a cheeky fish and chips and a refreshing ice-cold lemonade at a charming cafe with a splendid view of the beach, it was time to sashay over to the Bournemouth Pavilion. Did you know they have the most dazzling array of shows in this gorgeous building? From ballet, to theatre, and of course, musical acts, there's truly something for everyone.

But listen closely, darling. Remember, this Pink Tutu Queen, lives, breathes, and sleeps ballet. So, guess what my heart yearned for? The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra is always putting on fabulous ballet performances, and this time around they had an adaptation of Swan Lake on the programme. And it really was just gorgeous! It just blew me away. Such beautiful dance sequences, truly poetic, with such captivating costumes. You know I was all for the swan-themed white tutu with those intricate sequins. Absolutely dreamy! It even inspired a new look for my next drag act. It's a surprise darling, but let's just say...it involves some lovely feathers. 🀫

The next day was for fun and laughter, I couldn't resist popping in to the town's quirky antique shops, finding a little bit of Victorian magic amidst the sea of whimsical trinkets and curios. One store even had the most amazing collection of vintage pink tutus - the ones with layers upon layers of ruffled tulle and sequined embellishments! I actually walked out with a beautiful, blush pink tutu for my own collection! You simply can't resist when you see a piece like that!

And it was time to let out the true drag star within! This time I landed my first gig in Bournemouth: at a fab vintage tea party at the Bellona Hotel - what a glorious place! My look, darling? Well, you just have to picture it. A pink, bubblegum pink, tulle tutu, cascading down to the floor. Sparkle and shimmering sequins like there's no tomorrow. My tiara was the kind of crown fit for a princess. My fellow guests were mesmerised. Not only by me, but also the dazzling cakes and sweet treats. It really was a delightful afternoon!

Now, you might be thinking - what was a girly-girl like me, in a pink tutu, doing at an antique fair? Well darling, you wouldn't believe what I found! It wasn't vintage clothes this time. Instead, it was a real antique carousel horse. Oh my goodness, the detailed craftsmanship was beyond exquisite. It was like something out of a dream, and in that moment, I decided I absolutely needed a horse like this in my life.

The ride back home was an absolute joy! It just goes to show how important it is to enjoy life’s little journeys. After all, the best things in life are often those unplanned detours.

And now, back to my little haven, Derbyshire, with all this inspiration. My creative juices are bubbling, and a brand-new dance routine is taking shape for the next show! This trip has really reminded me why I do this, why I share the love of pink tutus with the world. Because it’s all about the joy of spreading sunshine, sequins, and sparkly dreams with every performance!

I simply love spreading my message of glitter and fun wherever I go. The more tutus in the world, the merrier! So remember darling, if you want to see a little bit more glitter and a whole lot of love, head on over to www.pink-tutu.com It's where Pink Tutu Queen keeps all her fabu-licious stories, photos, and adventures, so come join the sparkly party.
