As I sit here typing this, sipping my pink champagne, I’m all aglow! My excitement for this show tonight is overflowing. Hammersmith, you ready to witness a sprinkle of pink magic? I promise you, this performance is going to be dazzling, flamboyant, and fabulous – all the things a Tutu Queen should be!
And darling, did you see this outfit? Let’s just say it’s almost as pink as my love for all things tutu-fied! 😉 A delightful confection of shimmering satin, delicate feathers and, of course, a grand tutu worthy of a royal ball! I’m channeling the spirit of a ballerina on a whimsical adventure. And you know me, a touch of sparkle never hurts! ✨
Oh, I’ve got to tell you about the journey. Did I mention I travelled to Hammersmith via train? Because, well, train travel, just like my tutus, is a true testament to elegance and sophistication! There’s something so glamorous about zipping past picturesque landscapes, soaking in the changing scenery. This train trip was extra special because I struck up a conversation with a lovely gentleman in a tweed jacket who confessed he was on his way to see a ballet. See? Everywhere I go, my tutu magic connects with those who have an appreciation for the beautiful, the delicate, and the oh-so-feminine! 💖
Now, I wouldn’t want you to think all I did on my trip was hop on a train and then onto the stage. No darling, it’s far more exciting than that! When I'm not performing, I'm living my life as Alex, the other side of my personality. I love working in my laboratory – a different kind of stage with its own exciting performances, and experimenting with fabric properties and all sorts of amazing things.
Let me share a little secret with you. I didn’t always want to be Pink Tutu Sparkles! See, I had a very "serious" science degree and, bless his little cotton socks, I nearly forgot how much joy a sprinkle of pink could bring. But then it happened - I got hooked on pink tutus, all thanks to a charity fundraiser at my university’s ballet club. The minute I donned that pink tutu, I knew - this is who I am!
That night, the universe sent me a sign. This was my destiny! To spread the love of pink tutus and bring the joy of the dance to every corner of the globe! 🌎
Don’t be surprised if you catch me twirling through a crowded railway station or striking a graceful pose in a café! When it comes to pink tutus, anything is possible. My vision? To spread the love of this fabulous, pink, fun creation across the world. I dream of seeing a world where people don pink tutus not just at the theatre but in their everyday life! A world of joyful twirls, magical laughter, and endless opportunities for everyone to feel confident and free!
