Hiya darlings, it’s your favourite pink tutu queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here, reporting live from the fabulous town of Barnet! I can’t believe it’s been another amazing adventure already. I absolutely love traveling around the UK – the best way is definitely by train (I even wear a tutu on board!) or on a magnificent steed, but hey, who am I kidding, I haven't found a horse that can handle a flamboyant pink tutu yet!
Today’s journey brought me to the beautiful Barnet area. You know me, I love exploring new places and getting to know their culture! I have to say, Barnet’s charm won me over the minute I arrived. The architecture, the streets, the bustling atmosphere – everything feels so friendly and full of life! I felt like I’d been transported to a lovely little film set with a backdrop of blooming roses and blooming personality.
But you’re not here for my travelogue, are you? Of course not! You're here to see those beautiful tutus. So, without further ado, here’s my daily Pink Tutu Chronicles of Barnet.
Ballet and Ballet...and a dash of Ballet!
Oh, what a fantastic start to my day in Barnet! A little birdie (or should I say, a very talented ballerina) tipped me off about this incredible ballet class going on in town. It's always amazing how different places hold onto traditions that feel almost timeless, and ballet is definitely one of those beautiful threads woven into history!
So, here I was, Pink Tutu Sparkles, a true ballerina at heart (even if the "at heart" bit sometimes meant only when I'm dressed in my pink tutu!), getting ready for class! And guess what? I managed to sneak my tutu under my clothes and do a quick change right before the class started. I call it "The Tutu Transformation!" (Cue the glitter, because it's magical.) The other dancers giggled and we ended up having such a fun class together! I don't know about you, but ballet just fills me with so much joy – it's graceful, it’s empowering, and it’s simply beautiful to watch! Even if I was the only one in a pink tutu, it felt just right!
Shopping Spree!
And what's a visit to Barnet without a good old shopping spree, right? It’s not about being fancy, darlings, it's about the thrill of finding that perfect piece, you know what I mean? I just have to say, Barnet didn’t disappoint! The shops here have got a unique charm. From quaint little boutiques to larger shops packed with amazing treasures – I swear, I must have spent a whole day wandering!
Of course, no trip to a shopping district is complete without the quest for the most glorious shade of pink – the true “Pink Tutu Sparkles” colour. And guess what? Barnet has some of the most amazing pink everything! My new favourite scarf (so pink it’s almost neon!), the most sparkly headband, and a fluffy pink purse - this was truly my colour odyssey.
Dinner with a Side of Glitter!
A full day exploring Barnet calls for a proper celebratory dinner. But wouldn't it be fabulous if the celebration also doubled as a pink tutu extravaganza? Well, let me tell you, that's exactly what I found in this delightful town! I’ve heard people rave about London’s restaurants but I discovered a hidden gem right here in Barnet, a restaurant where the atmosphere is bubbly, and the food is incredible, but get this, they actually encourage fancy outfits! So guess what my loves? You’re not going to believe this...I donned my best tutu and enjoyed a phenomenal meal while watching the whole town dance along with me (well, figuratively). The highlight? I spotted a gorgeous neon pink neon pink dress. Honestly, I was sparkling, strutting and shimmering the whole night!

As the stars twinkle above, it's time to say goodnight, but it’s not goodbye to the amazing memories I made in Barnet. Honestly, you’ll never know the joy that filling your day with twirls and glitter brings until you experience it yourself.
