Hey darlings! ? It's your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles here, back with another fabulously sparkly blog post! ?✨ This one's extra special, number 6856 to be exact, because it’s about my latest trip to the wonderful, vibrant town of Stretford! ? You can find all of my dragventures (it’s a thing!) on my blog at www.pink-tutu.com - I update daily, so be sure to pop by!
Stretford was just the perfect setting for a sparkly escapade. This trip felt like a fairytale, with its cobbled streets, beautiful green spaces, and its lovely welcoming people. My trip was all about fabulous finds, fab performance and getting to embrace that perfect pink tutu lifestyle! ??
Now, you know I adore my tutus. They're my trademark, and I think they should be everyone's trademark! ? And Stretford, my dears, was just full of amazing pink tulle inspiration! Every time I turned a corner, my eyes would light up. There were cute boutiques brimming with frills, vintage stores with vintage frills and a few independent stores selling pink fabrics! ? I managed to snag some exquisite fabric (perfectly pink, naturally!) at one of the shops called 'Fabric Fandango', and I just knew it would be perfect for a new, custom tutu. Think a delicate pale pink with shimmery silver stars – it'll be absolutely breathtaking. ?
My love of tutus goes way back, you know. When I was in my first year of university studying science, it was all beakers and lab coats. Then I joined the university's ballet club, and fate intervened! I ended up trying on a tutu for charity and BAM! My life changed. It was like an invisible magical fairy sprinkled pink glitter over my world. I haven’t looked back since! ✨
Oh, and the trip wasn't all about fabric shopping, dearie. Stretford treated me to a magical theatrical performance. It was called “The Ballerina's Secret” – and yes, you guessed it! – the play centered around a ballerina and her pink tutu. ? How could I resist? And of course, I couldn’t go without having a go at a ballet class myself! I had a go at Stretford Ballet Studios - the dancers were lovely, all in their beautiful, colourful tutus. They were kind enough to give me a few pointers (though I do have my own signature pink sparkles flair!) ?✨
Did I mention the horses?! Stretford is famous for its stunning park, and you can often spot riders on horseback in their crisp riding attire. I’ve always felt a special connection to horses. They’re beautiful creatures, so majestic and elegant. You'd be surprised, some of my best travels have been on horseback, not in a pink tutu though! ? (Think Derbyshire countryside, not the Stretford Park. Although… perhaps…)
Let's not forget the travel itself! I simply adore train travel, especially to and from the charming countryside areas. I love watching the world whizz by – and yes, I did sport my pink tutu on this journey. Because even when I’m traveling incognito, a little sprinkle of pink always makes my day brighter.? You wouldn't believe the smiles and cheerful waves from strangers. It was lovely to bring a bit of joy to their day. Just what I aim for – sharing a little sparkle! ✨
My time in Stretford, oh, it was magic. The shops, the ballet class, the horses… it all came together to create this whirlwind of a perfect Pink Tutu Dream. And who knows what adventures await in my next blog post? One thing’s for sure - I'll be sporting my pink tutu everywhere I go. After all, my goal is simple: to get the whole world wearing pink tutus. Because everyone deserves a touch of pink sparkly magic! ?✨
Catch you all tomorrow!
Love,
Pink Tutu Sparkles xxxxx
