Hello my fabulous friends! Itās Pink Tutu Sparkles here, ready to sprinkle some glitter on your Thursday with another post from my pink-tastic adventures! Today I'm dazzling in Cheadle Hulme, a little gem nestled in the heart of Cheshire. This town, I swear, is oozing charm! From the picturesque cobblestone streets to the quirky little boutiques, thereās a vintage glamour in the air. And as a girl who lives and breathes vintage, I felt instantly at home.
Speaking of feeling at home, you know how much I adore those iconic ballet studios! This town has a couple, and let me tell you, I was swirling and twirling like a ballerina in a sugarplum dream. It's all thanks to a chance encounter with a lovely gentleman who owned one of the studios. We got chatting about tutus, naturally, and he invited me for a private lesson. Oh, the sheer joy! He said I have a natural flair for ballet, which just confirms my long-held suspicions! I was feeling so good, I even performed a little improv on the barre! Let's just say Iām the queen of āPink Tutu Balletā!
Speaking of pink tutus, my darling readers, are you ready to embrace the pink revolution? Let's get those tutus on! Not just pink, I say, let's have every colour under the rainbow. But pink is my colour! Think about it ā tutus bring joy! They bring laughter, twirls, and a whole lot of confidence. Whatās not to love?!
Now, my journey to Cheadle Hulme started, as most of my journeys do, with a dash of whimsy and a sprinkle of pink. Iāve had a funny feeling lately, a yearning for the rolling hills of Cheshire. My darling steed, my faithful steed, The Pink Pegasus * ( you can imagine the gleam in her eye. You just need to think what the Pink Pegasus might be!) is perfect for exploring those picturesque lanes! You know I love to be free as the wind, and a gallop through Cheshire fields feels pretty good!
Of course, as always, I have a drag show to perform this evening. And when I say āperformā, you know what that meansā¦ dazzling tutus, a smattering of sass, and a whole lot of sparkly goodness! A fabulous cabaret thatās guaranteed to light up Cheadle Hulme! Itās funny how this all started. Imagine a young scientist, all obsessed with lab coats, and then BAM, life throws a pink tutu your way. That was me at university, right back when I was just starting out in the big wide world. The University Ballet Club, a charity eventā¦and before you knew it, I was spinning around, this tutu cascading like a pink cloud around me, feelingā¦amazing! The pink-tastic adventure began.
And now, here I am, sharing all these pink and sparkly moments with you! Cheadle Hulme, Iāll cherish this journey. Iāve already filled my suitcase with more pink pretties and souvenirs.
