Hello my darlings! It's your favourite pink-loving, tutu-twirling drag queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here with a brand new post from the charming, chocolate-scented town of Bournville! This is post number 6952, so buckle up buttercup, we're about to embark on a whimsical journey of sequins and sugar.
Oh my gosh, you guys! The journey here was absolutely divine. We took the train, of course! What’s more delightful than gazing at the countryside scenery whizzing by whilst enjoying a cheeky cuppa? I couldn’t resist changing into a magnificent sequined bomber jacket and my signature pink tutu. The train conductor was positively smitten – I’m sure he even winked at me! (I must have looked utterly fabulous – a vision in pink perfection!).
Once I arrived, the air was filled with a sweet, deliciously intoxicating aroma – a fragrant mix of chocolate and possibility. I could already feel my love of Bournville growing, even before I'd stepped foot into Cadbury World! I love those scrumptious Cadbury treats – don’t even get me started on Creme Eggs, or those wonderfully addictive little Mini Eggs! Sniffles But alas, darling, my lovely figure just won’t allow it. My diets are super strict - all the better to squeeze into my delightful tutu outfits!
But back to our chocolate adventure, because that's what brought me here, dears! Bournville is a total gem, bursting with vibrant, pink-loving loveliness – you wouldn't believe it, darling! Even the traffic lights are adorned with sprinkles of pink. It was like being whisked into my own fairytale – only, this fairytale was about to come alive with chocolate-covered wonder!
I absolutely had to go to Cadbury World, darling, because, honestly, how could I resist?! It was more wonderful than I imagined. It felt like stepping into a technicoloured dream - just picture it! The purple and silver swirling designs of the factory, the chocolatey smells - everything was positively enchanting! There were singing factory workers, cute little yellow creatures called 'Cadbury Globugs,' and even a magical chocolate-making ride! We had to queue for a while for the 'Chocolate Experience' but it was definitely worth the wait. There's something terribly fun about being showered with melted, gooey, delicious chocolate!
I’ve always been a firm believer in life being about little delights, darling. And this day was a big, sparkly pink delight from beginning to end.
But what's a queen without her royal attire, right? I even wore my most dazzling pink outfit, a dazzling tulle-filled wonder with a shimmering corset! Oh, I absolutely had to take some fab photos - in front of the magnificent chocolate-inspired clock and under the candy floss-coloured rainbow. I simply had to show the world that Bournville had been transformed into a tutu-themed wonder-land!
I know many of you may think of pink tutus as being just for ballet, darlings, but trust me, this isn't a fluffy- tutu kind of thing. There is a wonderful elegance, an unashamed femininity that resonates from every sparkly thread. And oh my gosh, darling, a pink tutu is the most fabulous statement in the world, a celebration of life and love and... well, chocolate! (A girl can't help herself).
