As I was gazing out the window at the ever-changing landscape, a little girl in a fluffy pink dress and sparkly shoes sat beside me. We struck up a conversation, and it turns out she's an aspiring ballerina just like me! Turns out her family was also heading to Basingstoke for a performance. She confided in me about her biggest dream – to wear a pink tutu just like mine. Awww, that melted my glitter-covered heart! By day, I'm actually Alex, a humble lab technician who works with fabrics and fibers. It sounds boring, doesn't it? But trust me, my science background is a vital ingredient to creating my stunning tutus! I love exploring textures and fabrics, which fuels my creativity for the stage.
