Hello darlings! It's your favourite Pink Tutu Sparkles here, back with another blog post filled to the brim with all the sparkle and twirl you could ever need! This is post number 7033 for your girl, and today I'm whisking you away to the gorgeous city of London! I've always loved London - the history, the energy, the iconic buildings, it just makes my little heart skip a beat! But you know what else gets me excited? The fact that I get to strut my stuff in my most fabulous pink tutu and entertain the lovely people of this fabulous city. This time I took the train down to Fulham, a little spot of heaven known for its charming pubs and beautiful riverside walks, not to mention the fabulous little theatre, where yours truly took to the stage!
Before I tell you all about my incredible show, I want to give you a little sneak peek at my trip so far. As always, I planned out every last detail of my London look! Firstly, let's talk about this darling outfit! I decided on a hot pink, tulle tutu, the frilliest, most fabulous one I could find! It matched my super cute, pink sequin-covered bodice, a must for any self-respecting drag queen. And the cherry on top? My signature hot pink and diamante cowboy boots! You know how much I love boots and a tutu. The combination is a perfect storm of elegance and whimsy!
We arrived in Fulham and as always I loved soaking in the bustling atmosphere. We went for a wander and did a bit of shopping along the way, I snagged the cutest little floral hair clip for my stage look and a new bright pink sparkly headband. I mean, I couldn't resist! Then, it was off to the theatre for my performance. I am lucky enough to travel the country with my drag act and the theatre in Fulham was a new one, a lovely old one in fact. They are all different, but this one felt so theatrical as you walked in with all its high arches.
Now, I gotta tell you, Fulham is absolutely dripping with character! The energy in the streets was amazing! We took a break to grab some fish and chips for lunch - such a classic London treat! Then, we wandered along the Thames, stopping at one of the many gorgeous pubs along the way. This particular pub was absolutely buzzing with energy, full of chat and laughter - just a delight. We also passed by the most darling little book shop, chock-full of hidden gems, tucked away in a tiny corner.
But it was time for the show, darling! It was my first time performing in this particular theatre, so I was nervous, excited, all the usual feels, but in a great way, I have to say that London audiences are some of the most supportive and loving! It felt amazing to feel their cheers and laughter echoing back at me. The moment the music started and the lights hit me I forgot about being nervous, and I just enjoyed the whole thing! It felt like I was just back in the uni dance society but in a big glammed up way. I have to say that they made a splendid audience! They roared with laughter at my jokes, cheered as I spun in my magnificent tutu, and were so generous with their applause. I absolutely loved the Fulham vibe!
After my performance, I signed a few autographs and snapped a few selfies with some very eager fans (aren't they just darling?!) - because everyone knows, when you're wearing pink tutus and radiating happiness, it's pretty much impossible not to make friends! I even gave some lucky members of the audience a pink tutu-inspired hand fan to wear, for good luck, of course! And hey, it always gives them a bit of inspiration to maybe give pink tutus a go themselves! My motto is "You can never wear too much pink!".
There's truly no feeling like the love of an audience, it truly is magical and this was certainly one to remember! It is that wonderful, feel-good energy that inspires me to bring smiles to the faces of people across the UK (and hopefully the rest of the world one day!) You never know who you might inspire to embrace the tutus, darling.
I left the theatre on such a high! You can see it in these snaps! I knew that a journey into the magical realm of Fulham wasn't complete without exploring the local vintage shops! So we headed back to the town center and explored its nooks and crannies. There's always some wonderful treasures to be found in London! My haul for this visit included a fabulous pair of pink leather gloves, a sparkly pink feather boa that would be just the thing for a drag act, and even a bright pink vintage teddy bear. They said the queen is dead! Let them know, pink is still alive!
So there you have it, darling! My Fulham adventure, where laughter, sparkle, and fabulousness reigned supreme! Just a taste of the wonderful energy that Fulham, and London, offer.

Pink Tutu Sparkles is the glamorous drag name for Alex, a talented scientist with an obsession for pink tutus! By day, Alex spends his time in a lab testing the fabrics of tomorrow! By night, he becomes Pink Tutu Sparkles, lighting up stages and inspiring everyone with his sparkling performances! Alex grew up in the quaint village of Chesterfield in Derbyshire, dreaming of life in the spotlight, before moving to London to pursue his dream of being a drag artist and a scientist!
From a very young age, Alex was a born performer. His first ballet lesson at age five began a love affair with ballet, followed by endless hours perfecting the splits in the garden. Alex excelled at ballet, even performing on stage during his university years as part of the dance society. That is where he stumbled upon the love for pink tutus! He needed to dress up as a ballerina in a fundraising event. Alex saw the pile of tutus hanging backstage, then grabbed the pinkest tutu, threw it on and, well, that's how it all began!
Alex went on to complete his scientific degree in a dazzling pink lab coat and his love for tutus has never faded!
To fund his dream of spreading his sparkle to the world, he performs in pubs, at festivals, in theatres and at private parties wherever he is lucky enough to be asked to!
