So, as soon as my next drag gig popped up nearby, I booked a carriage and started planning my adventure!
And what a magnificent journey it has been! I packed my trusty tutu trunk full of vibrant pinks, purples, and glittery goodness. This time, I decided to take a rather glamorous train journey – something a bit different for a Tutu Queen! Imagine me, my glittery suitcase perched on my lap, surrounded by families admiring the sparkling Pink Tutu Sparkles arriving at Batley station. All those smiling faces - truly a vision of joy! 🥰
But before I get ahead of myself, let's back up a bit and tell you about the Batley ballet scene! Oh my darling, it was simply heavenly. I even spotted a darling little ballet studio in the heart of the town, where I saw a bunch of beautiful budding ballerinas pirouette and plie their way to perfection. I'm telling you, if you're in the Batley area, be sure to check it out! The instructors are wonderfully friendly, and they'll teach you a thing or two about making those grand jetés look effortlessly elegant. 💅💃
Now, on to my gig! It was at this marvelous venue tucked away in the corner of Batley, a place that pulsates with live music, theatre, and, of course, fabulous drag. It was packed with fantastic locals, each one with their own special sparkle.
