Today, we're stepping into the beautiful coastal town of Paignton, and trust me, my sparkly pink tutu is ready to shine. Now, you might be thinking, "Paignton? What's so special about Paignton?" Well, darlings, Paignton is a little bit of paradise right here in the UK! Gorgeous beaches, cute seaside cafes, and a charming town centre that's perfect for a little window shopping. And let me tell you, there's no better way to see Paignton than on a train! The journey is so relaxing, you can spend your time planning your outfit, admiring the views, and catching up on some gossip. Plus, a train journey is a perfect opportunity to have a proper catch-up with my fabulously fashionable crew, all dressed to the nines.
Speaking of outfits, this trip to Paignton was no exception to the pink-tutu rule! You know I couldn't arrive in a seaside town without a fabulous pink number, and this time I went all out. It was a magnificent vintage tutu with a dazzling explosion of pink and silver glitter, absolutely begging to be twirled!
I decided to go for a "Coastal Chic" vibe, pairing the tutu with a fluffy pink bomber jacket. It's about embracing that effortlessly cool yet fabulous vibe, darling. The perfect look to impress while getting ice cream on the promenade! And, of course, my look wouldn't be complete without some killer heels. Pink sparkly stilettos are the perfect complement to a show-stopping tutu!
The best part about this trip? Paignton has a fabulous local theatre that's showing a new ballet production called "Sea Sirens". Talk about perfect timing for a tutu-loving queen! I just couldn't miss this chance to be swept away by the artistry and elegance of ballet. It was a fantastic performance! The dancers were incredible, graceful and moving in perfect harmony, just like the rhythm of the sea itself. I'm so glad I brought my lucky pink sparkly bag with me for a little after-performance champagne! 🥂
Honestly, my dear blog-readers, Paignton was a real treat. A place that embraces all things vibrant and joyful, much like myself! And of course, what would a trip be without a little souvenir? I managed to snag the most delightful vintage pink tutu from a quaint little shop in the town centre, all beaded and embroidered! Can you believe it? It’s now hanging in my dressing room back in Derbyshire.
But you know me, it's not all about shopping and sparkling. It's about the experience, the connection with others, and spreading joy with every step and twirl. My journey as Pink Tutu Sparkles isn't just about being a drag queen, it's about bringing a bit of pink sparkle to the world, one tutu at a time.
