I'm feeling so fabulous this week, because guess what? I'm in Bulwell! That's right, your favourite pink-clad, tutu-toting diva is bringing the glitter to this fabulous corner of Nottinghamshire. I'm already dreaming of all the incredible experiences I'm about to have, from a trip to the Bulwell Heritage Centre (and I hear there's some rather spectacular local pubs for a cheeky pint), to the gorgeous woodland at the end of the high street, begging for a magical photo shoot in my favourite fluffy tutu. I've already picked out my outfits - every one more glamorous than the last - and I've got a pink tutu just perfect for every occasion. (Do you know, sometimes it feels like my wardrobe is just overflowing with tulle?! It's a good problem to have!)
Of course, no journey would be complete without a sprinkle of my own signature "Pink Tutu Magic" - think, glittering tiaras, feather boas that practically demand their own zip code, and a smile that could rival a sunrise. Let me tell you, this tutu queen is ready to light up the town, one glitter bomb at a time! 💖
You know, as a Derbyshire girl at heart, Bulwell feels like a little bit of home. This trip's giving me those nostalgic vibes, all comfortable and charming - not to mention that incredible spirit of local pride that just makes me smile. It's a real reminder that, no matter where you are, if you've got a little sparkle in your heart, anything is possible!
Speaking of sparkle, I'm super excited to be bringing my show to the local theater tonight! It's an opportunity to spread some TutuQueen magic to the local community - I'm absolutely giddy to make everyone laugh and dance along. They’ll be so busy singing along, I bet nobody’ll notice how I almost forgot my sequined gloves at home! Picks them out of the hotel room drawer dramatically and gives a dramatic sigh It's always like that! Always just one minute away from a complete catastrophe, and a quick change, thankfully!
There’s a lovely air about Bulwell, all cozy and inviting. The train ride in from Derby was a right treat, a gorgeous sunrise through the countryside - honestly, if only everyone got to experience the world on a train as I do. It really is a spectacular view, even with my gigantic pink and sparkly handbag shoved uncomfortably on the seat next to me - tut-tuts to herself, must really be doing some major baggage organising, so glamorous after all. Of course, I couldn't possibly forget to mention the charming gentleman who complimented my TutuQueen style. You'd think in a sparkly tutu and feather boa you would get some funny looks, but not one person looked sideways. Just lots of nods and waves, a big smile and "Nice tutu!" That really was the icing on the cake - all my efforts really paid off, the whole train ride felt like an instant runway, fabulous! I can’t even begin to describe how much joy I get from brightening someone's day!
