Fulham: Tutu-licious Travels! 🩰💖

Hey darlings! It’s your TutuQueen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, and it's time for another blog post! Welcome back to my world of pink, tutus and glitter. This is blog post number 7291 - you've been warned, my posts are like an endless supply of shimmering pink fluff!

Today's adventure takes me to the charming Fulham, London! This little corner of the city feels like a right fairytale with all its pretty streets, cosy pubs and bustling markets. It was the perfect setting for a TutuQueen to let her sparkly flag fly, especially as Fulham was holding a lovely little Christmas fair right in the heart of it all.

As always, the question that plagued my mind as I boarded the train, "How can I, the illustrious Pink Tutu Sparkles, arrive at this grand event in true tutu-worthy fashion?" The answer, as it always is, was a pink, fabulous, horse-drawn carriage, darling! Thankfully, London has its share of carriage operators and this charming chap even let me ride up front, waving to all the children on the street - such fun!

It was chilly, but the winter air was brisk and the frosty air only accentuated the magical quality of Fulham. The aroma of roasted chestnuts, warm spices, and steaming hot cider filled the air. Oh, the festive spirit was truly buzzing! The moment I stepped out of the carriage onto the cobbled streets of Fulham, I was mesmerised. Christmas lights twinkled in the windows, carolers sang festive tunes, and children’s faces shone with delight.

The whole scene made me feel like a little girl, ready to hop on a carousel, but with the added flare of a grown-up sparkle that only a tutu queen can deliver. As I strutted past the crowds of shoppers, my voluminous pink tutu practically twirled itself in delight, catching the light of the market stalls with every step I took.

The sheer vibrancy of the festive decorations sent a surge of excitement through me! My inner child screamed with joy, but even more importantly, I was already scheming new ways to make the festive season even more pink and twinkly!

I knew the market wouldn’t disappoint, and boy, oh boy, did it deliver! Handcrafted baubles and wreaths in every colour imaginable, rows of delicious sweet treats that were almost too pretty to eat, and all those irresistible handmade crafts, darling! But it wasn't just about the visual delight - the air buzzed with excitement, the chatter of families enjoying their day out, the clinking of glasses as folks sipped on hot spiced cider - it was a feast for all senses!

My absolute favourite discovery was this little stall run by a lady who hand-makes the most stunning tutus. Now, I'm not saying she stole the show because my tutu was definitely the queen of the day, but I will admit she definitely put up a good fight. I could have spent all day just admiring her work and, honestly, who can resist a good handmade tutu? This little treat had me feeling very festive and I could hardly wait to go home and test out some new moves in front of the mirror.

Oh, and speaking of mirrors! I absolutely had to stop and snap a few pictures at the magical Victorian era themed Christmas trees. The sparkle, darling, the sheer glitter of those decorations was simply stunning. They even had a life-size gingerbread house and an ice-skating rink - pure holiday magic, you know!

With a heart full of Christmas cheer and my camera roll bursting with picture-perfect snaps of Fulham’s festive scene, I finally felt ready to do what I do best, which is... well, drag, darlings! My evening was spent gracing a local pub with a fab set filled with all the glittery magic that you've come to expect from Pink Tutu Sparkles. And of course, I had to showcase my new sparkly finds! My performance, let me tell you, it was nothing short of sensational.

The pub, a charming old building with a fireplace that crackled merrily, had a warm and inviting atmosphere. People were swaying to the tunes and I could tell everyone was having a good time, which naturally put me in a delightful mood!

Oh, and a special shout out to the fab dancers who decided to take to the stage! They made sure the entire night was filled with such laughter and love, reminding me how joyful dancing can truly be. Their moves were incredible, but even more special was the energy they radiated!

Speaking of energy, darling, if you think being a TutuQueen is easy, then you have never travelled across the London by train, only to switch to a horse-drawn carriage, all before a night performance in a pub! It’s tough, but that's why they call me TutuQueen! My days are packed, but you wouldn’t find me any other way.

So there you have it, darling, another fab day of tutus and sparkles in London, the wonderful Fulham, specifically. It’s been an incredible journey and a true celebration of the season, a day filled with dazzling lights, laughter, and festive delights. My Tutu Queen heart couldn’t ask for anything more.

And that’s not all! Now it's time for another round of…drum roll, please... The Pink Tutu Prompt! This week, my challenge to you is simple: Find something that makes you smile! It can be a picture, a memory, or even a simple object. Let me know what makes your heart happy, because after all, the world needs a bit more joy. And always remember, darlings, spread the sparkle, wear pink, and rock those tutus!

Until next time, your very own Pink Tutu Sparkles sending you a huge dose of love and glitter!
