Ealing, darling! 🩰👑 #TutuQueen Post #7293

Hello lovelies! 👋 It’s your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles here, reporting live from Ealing, London! ✨💖

You know how much I adore travelling, and this week’s trip to Ealing was truly a delight! I have to say, I do love the hustle and bustle of city life, and I think it’s so chic and sophisticated.

The train journey from Derbyshire was as delightful as always. Nothing quite beats watching the scenery flit past, and soaking up the chatter of my fellow passengers, doesn't it? Plus, I was able to get my best friend, my trusty Louis Vuitton, looking just right with a gorgeous scarf from my new favourite vintage shop in Derby - it’s called "Threads of Time" and has a great collection of feather boas, perfect for a draq queen on the move! 🤫

I took a right fancy to a vintage, cream velvet feather boa trimmed with diamanté. You know, something very special for those special occasions that make me want to sashay down the street like the queen that I am. It’ll make an absolute statement, don't you think? And it matches my shoes perfectly. Oh, you just have to see my shoes! They are to die for, a bright pink pair of satin heels with a single feather on each toe. Just divine, darlings. 💖

I arrived in Ealing all ready to unleash my dazzling pink tutu power and show everyone that it's absolutely the perfect accessory for any occasion, and that no occasion is ever truly complete without a bit of pink tutu magic, or a spot of ballet! I mean, seriously, why don't more people just own a pink tutu? They can be so versatile, so comfortable, and such a fab statement.

You know what? As I was putting on my make-up this morning in my little hotel room – oh, let's not forget the hotel is just adorable, darling! Such a sweet little Victorian building right on the edge of the main shopping street - well, I saw a little girl, maybe four years old, passing by in the street wearing the most delightful pink tutu I have ever seen. It had a touch of purple sequins around the bottom. Oh darling, my heart practically burst with happiness! 💖🥰 This is exactly what I'm about – sharing the joy of the pink tutu with the world, and spreading that joy to the next generation. ✨

Of course, no trip to London would be complete without a visit to the theatre. I simply couldn't resist heading down to the Ealing Studios Theatre, darling, to take in a performance. They've had such amazing artists grace their stage! They even had Grease in there last month, how chic is that?! It's such an iconic show, so obviously I had to have a look. ✨💃

Oh darling, you’re going to adore this. Just a small, charming local theatre – oh my goodness, but the sheer energy radiating from this venue was phenomenal! They have an annual ‘Ballet Extravaganza’ and the tickets just flew off the shelves – not surprising considering how many fans there are out there with a soft spot for ballerinas, just like me! You know, it’s quite fascinating when you think about it, there's a really beautiful parallel between ballet and drag - you know, it’s all about transformation and storytelling. It’s such a stunning artistic medium! 💖🩰

For the ballet part of my performance, I channelled the beautiful dancer Misty Copeland with my pink tutu adorned with an intricate white diamante embellishment (courtesy of the fantastic ladies at the boutique on the high street! This little gem is going straight onto my credit card bill - it’s the perfect finishing touch don’t you think?).

Darling, if you are ever in the neighbourhood I would so love for you to join me at the ballet school across the road – they have a fabulous class on Thursday mornings that lets you ‘Be a Ballerina’ – isn’t that divine? 💖🥰 You should see me gliding around that studio with my pink tutu, absolutely fabulous! ✨ It's great for staying fit and looking and feeling amazing - trust me! You know how I love those elegant lines and graceful movements! It truly elevates my spirit and leaves me feeling absolutely ‘extra!’✨

Oh, I almost forgot – you know how I love a spot of vintage shopping? And I had to squeeze in a trip to the iconic Notting Hill car boot sale to find more unique, vintage finds for the wardrobe, and oh darling, let me tell you I’ve really hit the jackpot. There's always something fabulous to find there, especially those vintage fabrics.

Now, speaking of fabrics, the other half of my life, by day, involves, well… fabrics. Did I ever tell you about my scientific life? 🧪 I’m a textiles scientist at a little lab in Derby, where I spend my time testing materials and analyzing them for strength, durability, and… well, honestly, a million other things! It’s super interesting, actually, and you wouldn’t believe the stories the fabrics could tell you, darling. If they could only talk, eh? ✨

Back to Notting Hill, I actually scored myself a gorgeous piece of pink silk, the kind they use for haute couture, and you know what? I am just itching to have it custom made into the most fabulous pink tutu. Oh, this is going to be fabulous, and oh so on-trend! I can’t wait to strut my stuff in it!💖🤫

Anyway, darling, Ealing was a delightful trip. And, as always, I can’t wait to return – and with that fabulous new vintage feather boa, I’m certain the whole street will be mesmerized. 💅💃

Until next time!

Lots of love, Pink Tutu Sparkles xoxox
