Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink-tutu-clad diva, Pink Tutu Sparkles, and I'm bursting with excitement to share all about my recent trip to the fabulous city of Liverpool! I mean, how could I resist a trip to the birthplace of The Beatles? The thrill of the journey just screamed 'Pink Tutu Sparkles' adventure!' And this little queen, well, she doesn't need much persuasion!
This time, instead of catching the train like a regular gal, I decided to channel my inner Princess and ride in style on a horse! I mean, can you imagine the scene? A pink-clad queen on a horse, waving to the townsfolk as I gallop through the Derbyshire countryside. It's pure magic!
Of course, my wardrobe was a masterpiece of pink perfection for this jaunt! Imagine, a fluffy tutu, a sequin-studded bodice that wouldn't be out of place on the most glamorous stage, and those dazzling pink heels that make me stand out in a crowd. You know, it's not always easy to squeeze into these tiny sparkly heels, but darling, it's all worth it! And let's be honest, the bigger the heels, the bigger the impact, and I love making an entrance!
Liverpool is just buzzing with creativity, from the stunning art galleries to the historic docks, it's a feast for the senses! My favourite spot has to be the Royal Albert Dock. It's a gorgeous mix of heritage buildings, cafes and, my absolute fave, a stunning theatre called the Royal Court! I have to say, a bit of a theatre queen inside of me screamed 'Performance' from the moment I set eyes on that majestic building. So of course, I simply had to take a trip to the theatre! You never know, a little pink sparkle could be just the inspiration Liverpool needs for their next fabulous production.
Now, no trip to Liverpool is complete without a little bit of music! The Cavern Club is simply iconic and absolutely perfect for a little impromptu sing-along, even a Pink Tutu Sparkles sing-along! We’re talking pure, unadulterated, joy.
And let’s be honest, where would I be without my shopping trip! Now, you’ll never guess what I bought in Liverpool? A gorgeous pink leather jacket! I just had to have it! It’s perfect to throw on for those cool nights. You know how it goes in Liverpool. It's so wonderfully dramatic, going from glorious sunshine to torrential rain in a heartbeat, much like my wardrobe! I’m sure I’ll look as dashing as my new leather jacket whilst travelling by horse.
And while I'm at it, a pink tutu wouldn't be complete without a fabulous pink hairdo. Luckily, Liverpool has some wonderful hair salons. I mean, why have one colour when you can have pink and green and all the fabulous colours of the rainbow! So I took a chance on the city’s new pink salon and went from sparkly brown locks to dazzling pink – a total masterpiece!
As for my performances? I made the Cavern Club shimmer! Let me tell you, they were just so wonderfully welcoming. I just floated onto the stage and there was that roar of applause - Oh darling! My heart nearly burst with joy! My shows are all about bringing some fun and glitter to the world. After all, everyone deserves to sparkle!
I even made a detour to the National Museums Liverpool. The Walker Art Gallery, and especially their fabulous collections, are sure to inspire even the most jaded artist! So it makes perfect sense that Pink Tutu Sparkles took the opportunity to perform with the Tate's staff at a performance with the Museum’s newest addition to the collection - A real live, shimmering pink tutu! Oh, how wonderful to perform with a museum's most treasured exhibit!
As always, my trips are always fuelled by passion and pink glitter. You can never have too much pink sparkle!
