Helloooo lovelies! 💖 It's your favourite tutu-wearing queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, back with a brand-new blog post! This one is all about my fabulous trip to Paignton, a seaside town in Devon! 🎉
This post is number 7840 on my blog - it's crazy how time flies! 🤯 I'm always amazed at the support I get from you lot on my travels - thanks for keeping this crazy, tutu-loving journey going! 🥰
Right, back to Paignton! ✨ My trip started off in style, naturally. A glamorous train journey - I had a carriage all to myself and everything - so I could stretch out in all my fabulous pink finery. 🚂 I took advantage of the journey to finally start reading the book everyone's been raving about, "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo", all the while wearing my new pink and gold sequinned hat. 👑
Upon arriving in Paignton, I knew I had to get right into the spirit of the place. 🏝️ First stop - fish and chips on the pier. Honestly, you can't beat a traditional British seaside treat, right? 😋 The salty sea air is practically made for a perfectly crispy battered cod and a big serving of fluffy chips. My look for the occasion? A bubblegum pink tulle tutu, sparkly pink boots, and my favourite oversized pink sunglasses. 😎 Because, seriously, who doesn't want a pink tutu at the seaside? 💁♀️
But the real highlight of the trip, my darlings, was a chance to see the amazing Paignton Zoo! 🦁 A true paradise for anyone who loves animals. I had such a blast petting the goats, getting a selfie with the fluffy llamas (naturally I wore my matching pink fuzzy hat, which totally went with my pink and purple cheetah print top!), and watching the otters zoom around their enclosure. 🦦 This time, I kept it cute with a flowing hot pink tulle tutu and a matching sequined bolero. 💖
The best thing about Paignton? The town's famous annual Summer Carnival! 🎉 It was literally a feast for the senses - live music, performers, stalls galore, and a big, beautiful parade with dazzling floats! 🎊 It's like every colourful, sparkly dream come true - definitely my kinda party. For this one, I pulled out all the stops. 💎 My pink tutu was layered with pink feather boas and even a pink sequined feather headpiece. 💅 I added pink sequins all over my tights (I mean, more is always better, right?) and did a little glitter magic on my eyelids for good measure. ✨ It's not even about the makeup; it's all about feeling fabulous and empowered! 😉
Of course, no visit to Paignton would be complete without a dip in the ocean! 🏊♀️ (And I'm not afraid of a little chilly water, especially when my pink glittery swimsuit makes a splash!) 😎
But my travels in Paignton wouldn't have been as magical without all the lovely locals. 💕 I love getting to meet all sorts of amazing people, sharing stories, laughter, and even a few tears, with a little bit of sparkly pink joy! 💖 I'm even lucky enough to have a fab new friend - a hairdresser who does a mean pink-tutu-themed hair updo. 🎉 I'm not shy about giving her a big pink sparkly shout-out! ❤️
Paignton, I have to say, is now one of my favourite seaside spots! 🥰 So much pink inspiration, such fantastic fun, and such incredible energy! 💖 I know I'm not the only one who gets a special feeling from being near the ocean! 🌊
But here's a little secret: this pink tutu queen has been dreaming of getting my own pink tutu themed caravan and touring around the UK, hitting up every town and village, spreading joy and a bit of sparkle! ✨ What do you think?
